Huh...I see certain high scores that really don't seem attainable...I mean I perfected a song on hard and there are people who have quadruple my score...
Overall, chill game, great blend of Rockband, Guitar Hero, and Christmas ;D
This game is insanely difficult for the longest time, but once you hit level 40 or so it's nice to go back and breeze through the levels, and gain formidable experience ^^
I managed to beat The End by using Arch Angel and then getting roughly 60 of those high-end mages behind him to shoot it also. Use Rain of Arrows when possible and always let your mana rise before buying units so you can effectively replace your Arch Angel. If you replace him often enough, The End will be greatly delayed in getting to your base.
AeroChykka, can you shut up? I have perfected Betrayal of Fate, in fact I have perfected every song (don't have the badge cause I needed to download game because it lagged). But guess what, they are all possible.
Fun game, but gets boring once you have all the upgrades, and it becomes difficult to keep playing when you have to restart at a higher difficulty. Overall it's alright, though it could have used more upgrades. Unlike GemCraft, there are other games similar to this one, and they are...well, they're better.
As for anyone trying in vain to beat the first boss, build a lot of flaks, the boss will run out of bombs, and you will have a second chance to destroy him.
Lol at Aerochykka's stupid comments. Hey, guess what, I did perfect Lick up the Honey and I'm not lying. I'm sure if you perfect and then look back at your comments, you'll realize how retarded you sounded.
Finally I got my 60 points! Please don't say this game is bad because it lags, because guess what, it's not the games fault but your computer's. It works fine on my computer.
I will come back to this when it has badges. But altogether, it is an AWESOME game. The visuals are good, despite being all shadowy, and the sound is great. I will agree that some music would have been nice, but this is fine for now.
A nice mix of a lot of fun games, such as Age of War and Gem Craft. It's nice how you combined the various elements and made a cool game. However, it seems that the game itself is a little to zoomed out for any of the combat and such to be enjoyed. Make it a little more like Age of War, where everything is visible, and this'll be an impressive game to behold.
For hose of your struggling in fourth zone here's a good way to beat the bosses:
First one is a normal battle.
Second one uses this thing where he gains power but suffers extra damage. When he uses that buff, hit him with Break to stun him. His other attacks do less damage.
Third one cannot be beat normally. You will need Subversion. Lower his health and use Subversion on him. He will heal himself and in the process, die.
The fourth one requires a lot of training, but is essentially a normal battle. You will need to up your vitality. If you are having trouble, equip Shatter Bolt (x2) and Break (x1) to keep him stunned for a total of five turns. In two of those turns you can use attacks of your choice.
@altessa, I feel exactly the same way for some reason. The 2nd one just got me addicted right off, this one, I had to wait for a boring Friday evening before I loaded a second time. Still very fun though.
