MORE FOR FAME! Devs add gold so that they get paid: Players buy to get a "step up". Instead of making there be LOTS OF THINGS which can frankly, only be bought with gold, making the prices of trading with them super-high, make everythign be available with fame. People who want a "quick step-up" will buy with gold, rather then spent a long time grinding fame for it, but for those hard workers who are willing to earn it with fame: let us buy!!!
