The game is fun but the UI is clunky. There is a mechanic to refill your health when attacking -- it is a common thing that you need to do. However, if you run out of a resource, the option to refill it for the premium currency comes up in the same spot. If you're not careful you could accidentally spend currency you did not intend to spend. The UI is a bit clunky, and periodically breaks, forcing a refresh.
Joining an active guild helps quite a bit, as you can ask questions/get answers to things that you wouldn't otherwise be able to easily find.
As long as you're careful, read a bit of the wiki, and ask questions; the game can be quite fun. It also does not take very long to get to the point where you can actually *DO* things, though achieving the highest levels in the game does take significant effort.
