Difficulty in the last two levels is spot on; took quite a few attempts to work out a working build/cut order and get just enough luck on potion drops and such.
Units seem way too weak during Destiny mode; maybe upgrades aren't applying? A fully upgraded turtle was killed in 4-5 hits from a normal (non-enlarged) enemy, and all other units dieing within just a few hits as well. On hard you pretty much have to rely entirely on the maces.
Possible bug: Volcanic tower doesn't seem to apply the damage over time effect ever. Had one at the very beginning of a map and never saw a single enemy get lit on fire/take any periodic damage. This was with ranks 1 and 2
Minor problem with snow levels, it's almost impossible to see the unit placement hexagons since there's so little contrast between them and the background.
In spite of any big bugs, this game is quite fresh as far as defense games go, and makes me quite excited for what future installations of the series or something might bring with a bit more polish.
Good games of this type give players active abilities to manipulate the board to their advantage and use strategy to overcome the gross difference in stats that the enemies may have; in this game the stat differences are obviously there, but the only option we have to overcome them is luck (the ability to better spot match 4s and chains still boils down to luck, after all).
Will be fixed in next patch, thanks.
