How does adding fencing, cement walls and guys with guns ADD to your risk? Why do most of the guns do absolutely nothing to most of the zombies?

How do you get the 5 territories? I already beat it once with on character and I saved after I beat each castle

jebus. Ok I poison the queen. Looks like she starts to fall from the poison but then it looks like the game kinda glitches and she is back just smacking her lips for a while then kills me
