An honest review. Firstly, where's the RPG aspect? A narrative and upgrading your ship doesn't make a game an RPG. Just call an arcade shooter, because that's what it is. Secondly, you've extended the game through phases of the same thing with the same bosses and same structure just to compliment the narrative. That's a bad thing, at least with a game like Planescape Torment, a heavily narrative based RPG, there was progression and uniqueness. Apart from that, cool game. Artwork is awesome, quite outstanding with a hint of retro. I can't be bothered to follow the narrative but I'm sure it's great. Good job, just label it right and work on the gameplay. And definitely improve the weapon upgrades.
Did Level 24 in 5 shots, 1 for the sliders, 3 for the zombies and 1 for the brain. Perfect score in my opinion of 8500 points and yet I still get 2 stars. What am I doing wrong?
This game makes you wonder if it was even tested before released. The slowness even on low quality make Protector look like the fastest game of the year. Nice concept, poor game.
Guaranteed 600 seconds? I highly doubt that considering the factor that your balls just sometimes fly off and hit a help turret. And when that happens, say goodbye to your hard badge. And the help turrets generally wait for around 580+ seconds before they decide to screw you over.
There's like 50 of everything. What's the point? Why would you want gamers to know what they're in for. A long tedious journey. Sigh... Rate down this comment as well. Gemcraft 2 will tear this series apart, just like the other Gemcraft games. At least the combat looks nice in them games.

I completed this game when it came out ages back, you people need to stop complaining about it. It's a really good challenging game. You have to adapt to it, if someone gives you a game with controls you're not used to, it doesn't mean it sucks. If it has different sensitivity, it doesn't mean it sucks. Adapt people. That's how to be a gamer ^^

I just get unbearable lag from this game, it lagged so much that it'd take about 5 - 10 seconds before it moved in the direction I wanted it to. Also, lol gameformer45, your icon spell 'GAMFORMER45'
For everyone trying to get the badge, two levels = 1 stage, there are two bosses per stage. So once you defeat a boss you are at the second stage. That should be clear enough for you all. I thought I was halfway through the game when it said, Well Done!
