OK game is fun but really the deterioration of your gun is absolutely annoying
Lost my first continue on wave 28 because my gun regressed all the way back to level 1... which at that wave is sure death.
My opinion would be to max the gun out at that quad red and just cut it by half if you get hit, more fair that way. You basically get penalized for doing good with this current system.
Make sure that you have 10/49 before the lights go out. Once the lights go out you lose the ability to get those first 10 of them, that's where I missed one of them during the first play through.
Sometimes the places are annoyingly out of the way. I consider myself pretty well versed in geography but you're talking about some of the most unimportant cities in the most unimportant countries. I know where most of the countries in Africa are but not the damn cities... so yea, hard hard game but all memory. Also the scoring system is really really harsh, don't know how good that is.
Bottom left corner for mute morons. Look a bit harder before whining. My only gripe about this game is that occasionally I'll lose simply because pills won't spawn. It isn't even a matter of getting to them, it's that they aren't even there.
This is not related to Amorphous + and is not made by the same people. Stop saying "amorphous got remade".
That may well be true but it is very similar. The difference is that Amorphous was simply more difficult because you were slower.
Anyway for those people "Stuck" on level 4, chances are you aren't passing that gate that requires you to be level 5 to get through. Hit menu, go to the menu and select area 4 again to get some more exp so you can level. YOu can do all the levels at the higher level and collect extra exp.
Also this game isn't hard, if you're bad at it you need some serious help. You are so ridiculously overpowered when you are enraged there is no way you can lose.
No sam, the physics are far from correct. The reason you interweave blocks is to prevent that pressure from pushing the tower outward. Even if you avoid putting the long ones on the outside its far too finicky to be really realistic. That aside the hit box of the blocks is far larger then the blocks themselves. You'll hit sides of blocks you really should not.
Game is playable but really annoying.
Game isn't rigged but it's also in no way skilled based. I play this game with my friends all the time (no the designer is NOT the original rule maker of this game, ZIlch is a very very old dice game) and trust me, it's 99% luck based.
Some big problems with the game as some mentioned.
It's possible to get invulnerable attackers, your gun will always miss and there is nothing you can do about it.
Change the aiming ridicule to something that isn't red and impossible to see, a bright blue or even slightly flashing would be better.
Only the first wave of air drops are killable, after that they are unstoppable damage making the game just about impossible.
Grenade launchers don't work on the nuke trucks... why?
Shield is a double edge sword, sure it reduces damage but it also reduces repair time. Making it just about useless, probably a bug.
The game starts getting insane around level 30, if you fix the bugs then it wouldn't be an issue, but there are still some balance issues to fix. I figure that if the repairmen work like they should then I would have gotten to level 40 with my setup.
Train Wreck by Noise Pollution is far and away the most difficult song on this game. The odd holds + the arrows during them make it a pain in the end of it all.
"Your program has an interesting concept of which strands depend on which others. By interesting, I mean completely out of touch with reality."
This person said it the best. The concept is great, the game is fun but this game has a tendency to destroy parts of teh web that should have nothing to do with the part that just broke.
The one guy that said ignore Super Monkeys is right, there is no way you can get the cash to fully upgrade one on hard, much less more than one. If you want full lives rely mainly on cannon and glaive towers. Throw a few blade throwers here and there (at least 2 at the beginning of the map to split up waves) and you'll win. You should have a fully upgraded monkey beacon at around level 47 and enough money saved up for Monkey Storm whenever you need it Cheap but effective way to get the hard badge.
