oh yea i also wanted to mention that the morale factor is pretty useless as well. it has an effect in the game but its not a factor you can control. you simply randomly get supplies and jazz just like you do with survivors but it only does one thing so no active game play with it.
this is a pretty fun game. my only complaint like other people have mentioned is the survivor issue. if you are unlucky and lose survivors, especially early, it isn't as easy to get them back. instead you have a spiral effect where if you don't have survivors you just lose more even if you get them. it much more of a random chance factor at this point rather than a controlled chance like you might experience in say a tcg
i think this is a pretty fun game. the only thing i would like to say is that when facing the boss i think it takes away quite a bit of fun if you can't cause effects onto them. i understand they need to be stronger and that some combos make the boss useless. but this way it makes it that it is pointless for you to have certain abilities. moreover limiting yourself to only dmging abilities on bosses limits the tactics you can use making boss fights less interesting and more frustrating.
Hey, thanks for liking the game :D About bosses being immune to certain spells, I see you understand that a "perma silenced boss" or a "perma Bashed" boss, or a "perma stuned boss" or a "charmed boss" would be pretty boring. however bosses are only immune to Crowd control. not to dots, or diminishing stats. (like amplify damage, evasion down, disarm) , all party combinations can defeat all the bosses on hard, and in the second gameplay mode (its harder) as it is right now. the game would become extremely easy if we add stuneable bosses. I think it increases the tactic factor, and player have to think further, if they cant use "cheap" strategies, like "perma stun the boss til he dies". Thats my humble opinion at least.
i think this game is really good with a lot more potential too. like others suggested being able to sort through parts would be very helpful. another thing i'd like if there was a volume/mute button. not saying the audio is bad but i'd rather listen to my music while i play.
lol hired allies are good. you just need to pick up the right one that works with your guy. plus when you start out i would just focus on getting the easiest medals so when you start out the next time it'll be easier
cool game. pretty hooked on it. i'd just like to put a random suggestion. there are a lot of cards out there with a %chance to do things. imo i think they are unreliable and somewhat apply an anti fun factor especially if it is below 50%. you can't strategically depend on them and more often you are left upset for the effect not triggering then you are happy for the effect triggering. plus card upgrades only increasing that chance minorly isn't satisfying for the costs. so i'd suggest either increasing the chance to 50%+ or giving ways to manipulate the chance% or plain scraping the chance%. great game and thanks for making it =)
haha i know it been awhile since the game developer updated this. but i was wondering if they will update this further or come out with a sequel??? i played this since it came out and restarted getting the medals every time i was on a new computer. i think this game is a ton of fun and it'd be cool to see more of this.
its a pretty good game. more so addictive =P. one thing i do suggest would be a better way to sort the shop. when you reach the higher levels you want to just focus on the higher class parts. however when you scroll down the parts are mixed with lower class parts. i'd suggest sorting the parts by class or give an option for that like the sorting with the mechanics because in many cases u'd search primarily by class then type.
i totally support a sequel. it already has a great basis imo. i do like having a limited amount of skill points to distribute to make you think more in depth on what skills to have. also i do like how the way it is set up you can still use all of your spells even though there are only 3 slots open. a basic suggestion when you make a sequel would be adding more skill trees such as lightning or summoner tree. or instead of just wizards allow for different classes such as an archer or mechanics class (big fan of mechas =P). just some ideas. 1 active skill i would love to see is a skill that recharges your mana instead of relying purely on passive regen, total mana, and not using skills.
i have to say this game is pretty fun. has a lot of potential. but as others have said could get a little help by adding some tools like hot keying, better displays, etc. 1 thing that annoys me though are those infection fleets. imo they are just too annoying to deal with. beatable but takes time and effort and a lot of frustration is involved in figuring how to beat it.
