I would like to see this game continue. Either through more sequels or through the dungeon scaling and getting progressively harder. Deeper than the levels given. I was disappointed to finish the game, then work my way back down to the last level to find... disappointment. I didn't even get to max out my skill tree! Fun game, but needs to expand!
Personally I would prefer to see an "erase" button instead of a fast forward button. I don't have the steadiest hands and erasing a small lump that's slowing down sugar progression to redraw it would be phenomenal.
Hmmm. So I shoved as many possible CD racks, attractions, and other things as I could into the biggest shop, with maxing out my popularity and karma and all, started the day, hit the speed up button, and I think my shop was far too awesome, as the game ceased to function. It quite fabulously exploded into a beautiful heap of shrapnel. The amazing power of my CD store caused it to transcend physical limits and become one with the universe.
Pretty awesome game, but it feels a little too grindy for some of the higher end items. And the way it lets you buy higher end items is kind of awkward. Buy one gun and unlock the four ahead of it? Same with shields, just a strange concept. Would rather have "get these guns/shields at level 2, 3, 4, 5 etc". Plus, cash feels harder to come by later on than in the mid-game. Perhaps I just haven't found the right place to farm yet, though.
So at the end you seem to be able to use the left and right arrows to steer him around. Anybody find anything hidden with this little feature yet? Or is it truly just an ending sequence?
Game is awesome. Wouldn't mind seeing a "tracking sheet" to see what artifacts you do have. Also wouldn't mind artifacts being... well... artifacts. Being overjoyed at having 3 artifact chests in one level only to have all 3 give the same item is a bit... discouraging. Of course this could make the game harder, but making artifact chests much more rare would add challenge and fun to the game as well.
Endless mode would be a bonus, scaling monster stats and bigger rooms.
Magic system needs improvement, hotkeying one or two spells would be great.
Wouldn't mind a little window that comes up when you hover over an item to see if it's better than what you already have equipped. You can't really drag items from shops over an equipped item to check stat changes like you can with items you already own.
Regardless. 5/5. Very nice in its simplicity.
So. I'm pretty sure I'm stuck with the CPU trying to bank 250 points constantly. I have to either forfeit or sit here and watch it be stupid. Is this some kind of bug?
