hey orava im not sure you remember me but i used to play this game instead of my schoolwork i actually did end up graduating so thank you for hours of enjoyment during school.
i dont see this game surviving on kartridge 0rava you should seriously consider porting this game to steam before flash dies just think of how popular it could be on there and how much more stable it would be and how the steam workshop could be integrated with its systems. i really think you should
its not like super hard to recreate the bug you just load any save that has a doll holding an item and theres a chance that the next couple of times you load the save they just drop the item they are holding
ok 0rava ive seen this bug happening on multiple saves now its not just any save where a doll is holding something in their hands theres a chance that they will just drop anything they are holding just from reloading a save. it seems to be at random which could be why it didnt happen on the first try for you
Whatever bug is causing the dolls to drop their items in their hands after saving and loading said save can be recreated rather easily, just give them the metal mask and i was using scarlett sword (weapon doesnt matter) even if you save with the item in their hand one of them will reload with it falling idk why
Can you report with *exact* steps reproduce the issue on the Bug Reports thread? Saving hasn't been changed in forever, neither have joints, and it's not happening on my end with steps as follows: 1) Spawn Ragdoll 2) Spawn Metal Mask above doll (so it falls and equips) 3) Spawn Scarlet 4) Trigger doll's hand and drag it so it equips Scarlet 5) Save, load, and unpause. 6) All joints load intact, as expected.
is there any way you can make the game not have a stroke from the blood. im not asking about turning options off im talking about how if you smack them with pretty much anything with all blood options the game often freezes and crashes leading to the blank reset where nothing is there and the page has to be reloaded
If you can reliably reproduce a crash, please let me know in the Bug Reports thread on the forums. (If it's just on collision, that'd likely be the lack of performance on your end, which I can't really help with. The game is very performance intensive for a Flash game, with over a third of the overhead being the physics engine doing things.)
Say orava.. Do you ever plan to bring this game to steam or some sort of more stable platform? i know theres a download version but it hasnt been updated in a while. I would gladly drop money on a more stable version because the browser version soft crashes too frequently.
The Download Edition is already as identical as possible to the Kong version content-wise (only difference being that there's no user content since that relies on Kong's API.)
You can change the order of the Powers list (so your favourites are at the top) via the Modify button at the bottom, or keymap powers via Settings > Keymapping > Powers.
0rava im not sure if this is an issue or not but ive only had a Kongregate account since july 23rd 2015 and i only made it to play this game in cinematic mode. I have literally been playing this game for 3 years straight. Instead of playing my 200+ steam games if i get bored id end up playing this game. Im just not sure what about it i find so interesting but its gotten to the point that every school computer ive been on knows exactly where to go as soon as i press "k" the link to this game immediately pops up in the search bar. Ive played it everyday ive been at school except for when i was absent. im not sure if this is a problem or an accomplishment but props to you for making such a deceptively fun game.
This most recent update killed the game. cant do anything without the game crashing due to too much blood on screen where it previously wasnt that much of an issue before
This game's most recent update is kinda eh it changed the dampening speed for firearms making them really difficult to aim with the mouse and it often crashes more and blood no longer shows up on the background of the lab or other environments
I think i have serious problem. Ive quite literally played this game everyday for the past 4 years
I have over 211 games on steam and i choose to play this one. Idk why but its just really fun and addicting.
