I think one of the best skills you can learn in this game is when to give up. If there's a super OP unit coming down one of the lanes, just wait until they get past your enemy lines. Otherwise your resources are wasted as you attempt to swarm it with spearmen.
The formations should really be customizable. It's really hard for me to make complex formations because there's no way to control which units become a part of a formation. There needs to be a feature that lets you pick. Another thing, I type at almost 100 words per minute, and I know a lot of other people can't type half that fast. It would be a lot better if the game was based more on tactical skill and strategy instead of how fast you can type. I think that's the reason the multiplayer isn't even running, not enough people play the game because it's typing-based.
