Generally pretty decent td, however a few gripes: Very little clarity on what the towers do, I thought boomers would be a cheap aoe slow, and that flak cannons would only attack air, there needs to be more detailed descriptions, especially which turrets attack air and which don't. Info on upcoming waves would be nice too, starting a mission and tossing down a flamethrower + waste spewer only to have the entire first wave be flying is no fun. Finally research seems pretty pointless, farm to unlock towers and then buy money boosts later, either needs to be more in-depth or not there at all.
Hmm, it seems pretty pointless to defend towns since they cost the same amount of days and gold and are typically a harder fight then retaking them as well as they give no bonus for winning.
I feel alot of the difficulty comes from the control scheme, I should not have to worry about what direction wasd is going to move me. A should always be left and D should always be to the right. A games difficulty should come from timing and puzzle strength, not a shifting control system >.<
@azurebalmung read the item descriptions, Reduces 50% of damage to the had, reduces 30% of damage to the middle, and reduces 20% of the damage to your legs. Pay attention mate.
Another suggestion, sorry, kinda of spamming now but I keep on thinking of things. Perhaps a combo editor, so if you have multiple moves you can set what order they come in, so you can plan out devastating combos xD.
A few more suggestions. A greater variety of items would be nice, such as an item that reduces the effectiveness of the enemies kicks, and one that increases how much enemies flinch from your attacks.
Also greater variety in aerial combat would be nice, such as more jumping attacks you can buy. Maybe attacks such as a uppercut jump attack, and a ground slam attack. Things like that.
Alright, a few things to mention.
For henchmen you should be able to use one of your free lives to revive them, I hate losing story henchmen because I fight 4 mounted spears in a row.
Also, to the one saying horseman are op, learn a little strategy. Jump when they charge and attack them from behind. I take more damage from a contingent of swordsman then massive amounts of horseman.
Other then that, great fusion of warlords and Achilles, though I woulda liked to have all races playable.
@runfaster it was made by the same person as balloon invasion, so of course it is similar in design, and as in similar to onslaught, onslaught is just a run of the mill td, so all tds are similar.
