After months of not playing the game, I gave it a go again. Then I remembered why I decided to stop playing it. This game is so unbalanced and biased it should be renamed "Be Monk and Win" or "Fk Wizards"
If you go talk to the Guards in the Goznor Barracks after you finish the Gem Mine mission and before going back to the dorms, Mercutio will tell you that there's a secret passage in the Goznor Sewers that leads underneath the Girl's Dormitory in Castle Goznor. I wonder if anyone's found it yet?
I beat the Security Demon with characters below Level 20! Yes, I intentionally failed a test as soon as I bought my first ticket. And yes, I beat it before I met Clavis at the Warport. I'm so happy like suuuuuuuper happy. My team: Lv19 Mardek with AirPendant, Speedy Juice, Morality Block, and Shield — Lv16 Sharla with Boots of Celerity, Healing Wind, Agility Boost, and Null Air Once — Lv16 Donovan with Stingstick — Lv9 Elwyen with Ballad of Balance. The tricky part was keeping Elwyen alive as the normal attack with Balance kept killing her, so I just let her stay down until everyone else had NullAir, NullDark, NullLight, Shields, and Full Health. Whenever the poison wore off, I got Donovan to use his Stingstick to activate it again. Sharla was my primary healer as she doesn't so anything after casting NullAir. I got everything set up properly when the demon's health was at 50%.
I don't see how the World's Saviours are so hard. Just have Legion learn 1000 Needles (Low-Health Happy Johnny) and Spirit Nova (Green Soul), and give him a Yellow Fairy/Speedy Juice. Then use Spirit Nova to halve the Saviour's health while the other guys try and get it below 1000. Once it's below 1000, then just use 1000 Needles and you're done. Gang up on them tho, in the other of Aalia - Bernard - Bartholio - Vennie. I killed them on the first go using this c:
Speaking of the shaman, when you kill her, you're immediately warped out to the map. But you should go back to the same room you killed her because you can get a Geojacket when you inspect the bones (or just check the map one you get there). It's super helpful against Moric
Hmm... I wonder how a Dark Elemental Person became the Canonia Shaman. Since Rohoph said that the undead take on the element of the necromancer animating them, and the shaman's element is Dark while Moric is Earth, so she must have been zombified while she's alive. Is that even possible 0_o
Just great -.- my game froze during the fight with a Molester, then after I refreshed, it's stuck at 19%... sigh... and that was a game save from Chapter 1 too. (PS: If you didn't play M2 or you're as dense as Mardek, the mystery man in the Dark Temple is actually Steele and he has a weakness to lightning attacks)
(1/5) Medium, they say. How about HARD instead? Plus I hate how it randomly accelerates and how the controls go waaaaaaaaaay over where I actually want to be. At least add an upgrade bar where we have the option to SLOW DOWN FOR A FEW SECONDS
