Maybe I'm looking too much into this, but I love this game's commentary on capitalism. This girl's life itself is being held hostage by cruel marketers who force her to run endlessly and combat increasingly lethal evil monsters. From her unjust perils, the other shopkeepers have a source of income as well. We too are forced to work our lives for little personal benefit while the rich businesspeople make more money.
The lines when the screen went black and the weather forecast were both too cheesy and broke my immersion, but other than that this is an excellent visual novel.
Great game! User feedback, ordered by importance: 1) at faster speeds the items appear right where you are, and then disappear altogether. Staring at a blank sky occasionally hitting space is rather boring. 2) the kongpanions only giving you more of the same stats you've been getting all along is a bit of a let-down. Make them do interesting and unique things like increasing the amount the screen shows, slowing down the launch bars, inverting the colors, etc. 3) At the end I'm getting about 8 upgrades per run, so they start to become meaningless. It would be nice if the end-game upgrades got more powerful and more expensive so that I cared about them.
Thanks for all the feedback! @1 Yes, taking a look at this now. @2 Yeah, I didn't want to give any larger bonus than what was already being given in case players didn't have Kongpanions already. @3 I'll see if I can do anything about that. Thanks so much!
This is probably the best running game I've seen. All of the rooms are either innovative, extremely polished, or both. The pacing seems a little slow at the beginning, but other than that it's great!
The zombies drop cash, he can buy guns in the middle of nowhere, and all the car parts are intact and evenly distributed around the car. Let's face it- this is a reality TV show.
This is the best platformer I've seen. The controls did what I wanted them to do, and I especially loved how the blood of your previous deaths could help you see invisible blocks. That does not, however, mean that I look forward to beating it again if badges are added...
