3/5, good simple little time-waster game. I really like the variable volume as opposed to simply mute or unmute. This game definitely has room for expansion. I think a more in-depth and advanced version of this game would go over well. (I do understand the game was supposed to be simple, but frankly more in-depth games are just better.) Instead of rewards being a fun side-task for players to attempt to achieve... it's the only real goal of the game. I do like the requirements to unlock the ships, though.

It gets boring, almost tedious at the end. The game needs balancing. For example, you earn the most amount of money on level 30. The cost for the robo-penguin parts is ridiculous. You don't have to be anywhere near fully upgraded to win. The "extra penguin" upgrade is as powerful as regular penguins, but cheaper...
CFumo, you set out to make a simple flash game, and you did it perfectly. It's simple, fun, and pretty. Controls are easy and perfect. The idea is original and entertaining. Five stars.
As far as an upgrade system goes, it absolutely is not needed in a simple flash game like this; however, the concept could easily be expanded into a more complex and in-depth game that includes an upgrade system and other things of that nature.
Suggestions: Clarification on how the game works. (I've only played it once so far, but I don't really understand it.) I have no idea what the lower bar means. I have no idea what "Tier 1" means. And I don't understand why I periodically get the tri-shot power-up.
