My game is currently stuck after it loads saying "Uh oh! Looks like something went wrong with the game! Please reload." After numerous reloads this problem still persists.
Hi. There IS a way to quickly travel from Inn to Inn! You can use the map on the wall in any inn (Should be actually highlighted with a star mission icon to make it visible) to teleport to the inn of any previous town you have visited :D Cheers! Dis.
Really great game with tons of potential. So far the biggest "problem" I have ran into is that it soon becomes a 5 vs. 10 in the 2 part battles, where the enemy has equal gear to you and it become's completely luck based if you're going to win. I think it be great to be able to buy backup fighters of your own, in case one of your fighters die, they will be replaced making it a more fair and balanced fight. And maybe make the fight system so that as soon as a unit dies their replacement runs in from the back lines making it more streamlined instead of stopping a fight half way through and starting it over with the enemy having 5 new members to fight.
Also pls add a refresh button to the shop, maybe have it cost 50g to balance it out.
Hey, great idea regarding the backup, thanks! Definitely won't be able to implement it in the game, but will save it for the possible sequel for sure!
We discussed the shop refresh functionality and decided not to add a Refresh button though this was one of the options.
The game is pretty fun, but could use some adjustments.
1) Toggle options for the Blacksmith for each weapon type to save certain minerals for buildings.
2) The lumberjack needs to have %s for gaining bonus wood just like the Miner has %s on finding rarer minerals. I have several thousand minerals just sitting around because I never have any wood.
3) The Hero only gains a bonus of 1 coin per stage, I think this should scale up by 1 for ever 100 stages cleared, just like after level 100 wood collected goes up by 2 per level.
4) Add an option for the Hero to go to the floor with the greatest Coins per Minute based on his current damage, because the coin scale is so low it's not that beneficial to keep climbing in stages.
I decided to write this after playing for several hours of playing so I could see some "Long term" balances over the people who play for a few minutes and complain about the miner being slow.
I really enjoy the game, and as far as I can tell it's going to take a long time to collect them all. But the only problem I am having so far is ending up with the same Lania, making it an even longer game. The only solution I can think of to this would be adding in the minimum/maximum requirements for a specific evolution when you unlock that character, the same way it shows you their bonus in the Status menu. This way we know what to avoid if we want a specific Lania.
Beat the game on my first go with "The Stien" who is really broken when equipped right. I used a "Leaf Branch" (+35% critrate, +50% Stun, and Crits heal 12% HP in 2 sec) My Ring was a Skull (+50% stun and +35% critrate) and here is where it gets OP, the Necklace "Frozen Stone" (+50% Splash, +35% critrate, and shoots 10 frost spikes on crits for 5 mana) But Stien gets 5 mana per hit so having 105% critrate means 100% Ice Spikes and everyone both stunning and freezing the opponents and giving me back 5 mana so it was an infinite chain the made the game too easy. If you're having trouble with the game use Stien and get yourself a Frozen Stone.
Really enjoyed the game, easy 5/5 for me. I'm very impressed that this is your first game. It's a lot better than most sequels that are out. But one improvement I thought of going off of the"Perks" that tzepesh666 mentioned, was how to unlock them. I noticed after completing a wave with perfect barricade health you get a golden skull. Maybe have a perk shop where every 3 gold skulls = 1 perk point. Here can be your first perk, "Bottom barrel blues: The last shot in the magazine will always shoot for double damage." Or some bonuses like that that will help throughout the game. I hope to see a sequel soon.
At level 70 you are high enough to unlock everything and have it maxed out. But how do you get to level 70? Well you're in for a long ride because after beating the game and going to endless mode it took me 50 minutes to finally reach level 70.
The Strategy I used to last so long was I used Fireball, Frigid Blast, and Plague Bane to spam enemies and kill almost everything. For healing and survival I used the Gargoyle with Siphon Life, he is also very useful for killing larger enemies. My final spell was Sea of Fire just in case anything happened and I needed to clear the board.
I hope this helps out, Also when I did this I didn't have all of my Black Smith upgrades maxed, so you don't have to worry about that before trying Endless Mode. Good Luck!
This game has huge potential to be an truly amazing game. A few things that could help improve it would be to speed up battle animations to make combat go a bit faster so you can get through the larger dungeons a lot faster. Maybe add a way to end your turn with some AP in an attempt to counter your opponent or parry his attacks at the cost of one of yours. Also have a small box above the player icons indicating their next attack would be helpful in setting up combination attacks rather then remembering what attack you had used last. One more thing, have a test room in the shop where you can try out weapons to see if you like them or if they are worth building before you get a weapon and don't really like it after how long it took to make. Just a few small things that could really help improve the over all fun and speed of the game. Only bug I encountered so far was hiring "Friends" and having them change character every time i went back to the tavern and checked out newer "Friends"
