This is a brilliant game. Almost console quality, in gameplay if not in size. But there is one thing I cannot stress enough: in Survival mode, you have to get a kill if the enemy commits suicide. You must. If you jump off the stage you lose a life, but if the enemy jumps off you get nothing. It's given me scores of seven or eight kills when it should have been eleven or twelve.
Suggestions: -get rid of the achievements, they don't belong in a beautiful and meaningful game like this. -get someone else to do the narration, someone with a more masculine, army-sounding voice.
Comments: -this is one of those games that transcends gameplay to become art in its own right. love it. -i love how since your health regenerates, you can't be killed over time. you have to be overrun to die. that's cool.
What the hell? Why is there a one-hit kill move? I have 100 Constitution, 100 Strength, I'm wearing the best armor from the Order, and those goddamn ninjas still kill me with that goddamn fire move thing. It's stupid.
So, like, I'm winning, just kicking total ass, and then - BOOM - out of nowhere, two simultaneous plane strafes. I'm left with one normal soldier with 27 health. Crap.
Even with the quality on low, this game lags like nobody's business. Half my keystrokes don't register, and enemies just pop up out of nowhere half the time. Oh, and I'm running an Intel Core 2 Duo, so it's not my computer. Maybe instead of making a pretty, graphics-intensive game with shitty gameplay, you should just make a game that's actually fun. But no, wait. That would just be too easy, I guess. 3/5.
Wow, this is just plain horrible. The gameplay isn't enough to make me want to shoot myself, the impossiblity of picking up items and evading enemies does the trick. The graphics are unattractive, the upgrade system is migraine-inducing, even Annie's voice is obnoxious. How Kongregate could even consider giving a game like this badges is completely beyond me.
Incredible game, all said. Not too hard, but not too easy, and the graphics are great. Kongregate is doing this game an injustice by not giving it badges.
