wow it is good to see that this game has not been forgotten. I just wish i didn't forget about it for a few years, remembering back to 2015, this was a really fun evolution simulator, glad to see it updated again
<3 I am continually updating the game, although I update the lite version less often. And even though you can't craft everything in the lite version, you *can* get lucky and dig up every item from the full version!
as some one who played this game as a kid, i feel that this game has aged very well, it is well balanced doesn't rely on over powering graphics, and has great lore in it, this is easily a game that helped start the golden age of flash games
wait, if Jack is in Union City, than it has been more than a month sense the outbreak, and in the loading screen you can read that the player was on a business trip to Jonestown, which was swarming with zed in TLS2. If you are like me and played the whole series you know how big of a plot hole it is that the main character has no idea what is going on.
just a few questions... 1.) is the tech mentioned in the description currently in the game? 2.) what is the microscope (hotkey default 0) and how is it used? 3.) based on the toxic waste announcement think i might be able to assume that the disaster that left three living species would be something nuclear so would that be what caused the zombies(mutants?)?
Good questions.
1) Toxic waste will be the first of the ancient "tech" that you can dig up. Soon to follow will be a bunch of junk, some useful and some not, things like DNA extractors...
2) The microscope is used to analyze the animats and fungols, select it and then long press or double click on life forms to analyze them. Analyzing is helpful if you want to breed for certain traits. You can see the health status and DNA (hint, the genes for animatroids are: metabo masso lego senso fono hydro aggro toxo). You can breed a species of fungol that can grow on stone floor (if you don't have any currently) or a species of animat that grows much much faster.
3) It is not entirely clear yet what caused the disaster, but there sure are a lot of buried toxic waste barrels. It is also not super clear if those zombs are actually even organic (or you for that matter)! Much has been forgotten, clues will be slowly revealed as more is added to the game...
