The first time I kill a boss is really cool. The 15th time, not so much. You could kill two birds with one stone by adding a dmg/hp (purely stats) way of increasing a boss' difficulty such that it's both challenging still, and I have a higher chance of getting loot. I'd much rather kill a hard boss (even with the same mechanics) a few times than an easy one many, many times.
I like how there's that one guy that instead of going to the night club or sleeping during the night runs to the very edge of the world and stares into the abyss.
You really need to be able to distribute workers in a better way. Once people have enough medicine, the food demand skyrockets and people start to starve. When you build more farms to compensate, you pull workers off medicine and all the old people suddenly die. It's really hard, if not impossible to stabilize.
I gotta think that this game would be WAY more fun if there was a way to tell which parts of the bridge were being stressed the most. Like, just have them flash red when they're taking high stress. As it is, it takes either a detailed knowledge base of mechanics, or a bunch of guess work.
Hmm.. I kinda threw the game restart code together in an attempt to get it upload worthy, so it seems that there are a number of bugs in that area... Thanks for the positive comments, but I really just don't have time to make art and the rest of the things that should go into this game. Maybe once this project I'm working on now gets rolling smoothly...
Yes, to be fair this isn't a "game", it's an idea. However, to turn it into a game would require time that I don't really have, and the ability to draw, which I definitely do not have...
Maybe someone can take this and finish it someday, or use the idea :p
