Game gets WAY too hard around wave 11 with all those unfair healers... Can't beat 12 without losing a hero or more... Far too frustrating for me to keep going! There needs to be a way to gain more honor or else it's too hard.
Replaying waves for honor has been added ... BUT - honor gains will be halved for the level each time you replay it ... ... ... also, new in v.1.230, we've done some work to make the difficulty curve a little smoother, especially between waves 8-12 ... cheers! ... ... ... FURTHERMORE, in v1.240, a dead hero's keystones will now be returned to the player.
Was having fun until the game crashed my Flash about 2/3rds through the entire map, causing me to reload -- and then finding out my game wasn't saved... :o( Oh well, fun game up until then! Just a few other niggles like others have pointed out with the autoswitch not working so well when bugs get stuck to your face. Also, the swinging/moving transition goes a little too abruptly when you try to go left/right and aim at the same time (tends to swing right past where you were aiming).
WAAAAY too hard. Grind, grind, grind. Unoptimized mess (really slows my computer down for such basic animation/flat color). Poison doesn't seem to do anything. Massive waste of UI space (large open areas where fonts/icons could be made larger -- as they are absolutely tiny on my laptop's 1920x1200 resolution). Speedup seems to do absolutely nothing. Calling waves early penalizes you, since the gold you get doesn't increase any faster, nor does calling them early give you a bonus. Needs shortcut keys. And is that Twilight in Level 2??? LOL! Definitely has potential, but far from polished.
Level 17 is bugged... I tried 4 times, and every time it just ended out of nowhere with a fail for no reason... Not a single enemy got by, either. Overall, the game runs slowly and needs a quality setting. The "shaking screen" is a tad annoying when it runs that slow. Also, needs a change in skins as the towers are upgraded. And nowadays, branching/multiple upgrade paths are the name of the game. This might have been awesome 3 years ago, but things have changed. Average TD game now.
Yeaaaaaah.... Mission 11, last wave (15/15) is LITERALLY impossible... There is NO WAY to beat it. I'm sorry, but it just isn't possible... Way to go, developer... Way... To... Go...
Level 18 is the best spot to grab gold (it is easy and you get ~2k each time). Also, I love that I got a smaller treasure chest inside the bigger treasure chest, LOL!
OK, I take it back... The bosses in general are WAY too hard in comparison to the "plain" foxes! They are extremely easy, while 75% of the time or more, the bosses get through. Also, I agree that the popup upgrade boxes are too small and a pain to click on. In addition, you should have a way to redistribute points, or at the VERY LEAST an undo (especially since I accidentally clicked on a couple). There also needs to be better descriptions of what each weapon does.
Needs a sell button. Also, there's a bug when you select the 4th weapon (Lump???) as default for Grandma, you can't select/place/use her at all. Also, the first time the boss comes through each stage, it's nigh impossible to kill him. I can kill him easily later, but that first time I can never get him. Also, sometimes it is hard to see if there is an upgrade icon over a unit, especially Grandpa. Overall a decent game.
I have been stuck on 21 forever... I have gotten down to the 1 last boss guy, and he is IMPOSSIBLE to kill... Other than that, this was a fun game, and I WISH more TD games had this sort of combining-of-towers-and-enchantments type gameplay! Why was there never a sequel!??! There really NEEDS to be!!!
Found an annoying bug... I beat the "Choke Point" mission, and now there's an annoying, unstoppable, repeating 'coin drop' sound. I can't stop it! I tried reloading the saved game, turning sounds and music off/on, etc. It doesn't stop!!! Reminds me of the repeating gun bug in Rainbow Six: Vegas... Ugh... Other than that, so far a fun -- if guided/linear with regards to tower placement due to the perk spots -- TD.
Another bug -- on level 7 with the Puppets (I have the guy that freezes time), I killed everything but it won't trigger the end of the map, so I had to restart the level again.
None of the Blessing perks would unlock for me, and neither would any of the perks supposedly gained from defeating Bosses. I beat the story and all bosses on normal, and you can see things weren't unlocked when they should have been. I have linked 2 screenshots for proof. http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a381/ShnikeJSB/NTCreature2Proof2.png -- http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a381/ShnikeJSB/NTCreature2Proof1.png . Other than that, it is a fun game! Too easy at the beginning, too freakin' hard in the middle, and slightly too easy at the end. I wish I could remap the "Eat" key myself to like "Shift" or something. Also, I hate having to RE-PRESS the direction key after eating something instead of being able to just HOLD it. I'm going to replay some more as other races. Hopefully the Puppets actually unlocked... We'll see!
Thanks for your feedback! The bosses achievement must be finished once the bosses appear in the Boss Challenge Menu (it was described in the Achievement Menu, but it seems not clear enough). We are working on this to make it easier by canceling the restriction. A new version will be published soon!
EDIT: New version 1.07 is published! The bosses achievements made easier right now!
