Actually I don't like the game anymore. The game bugged twice so i didn't have anyone but the first master and its pretty much impossible to beat the game otherwise. I get to the first all orc areas and trying to build the tower up is impossible. It is you(In this case I what few upgrades I have available at max, I use bow and shortsword) 2 archers and 2 knights vs literally 100s of orcs and dozens of trolls. I am sorry but what the? I get that if POISON ARROWS was available to me, the things I should have already then I would just keep having the trolls fight everyone and it would be mostly easy. But nope, game bugs so often that the masters don't work 90% of the time and you are screwed if they do. I know I did the master missions since I do every single mission in each quarter before I 100% it. And I ran into 3 or 4 masters several times in the first 3 zones.
This game has been around for a while now, no excuse for such a gamebreaking bug to still be here. 1/5 stars don't play.
This game is addicting. What I can say is GET A BOW! I tried going the knight method but good luck suviving a ton of dogs or zombies and trolls ganging you. With a bow I can put down the weakest zombies before they even get to me. So instead of worrying about 10 zombies ganging me, just like 3 and much easier to avoid.
I am like everyone else, was enjoying the game til you ran into necromagi. I don't mind an instakill feature if its like a once in a blue moon mob that you have to prioritize. But there is times there is fking 3 or so of them. I died once and will never touch this game again. I give this game a 1 star since I can't give 0. That is just gamebreaking.
I think it gets a little easy once you get further in the game, I am at the point where my 3 special attacks are so far upgraded that that is all I use anymore pretty much once you use one, it fills the charge on another. between nonstop rockets, calypso when they get close and that cannon barrage, there hardly is a need for me to ever use my own cannons
I wish in future games you can order your troops to go past the enemies. It is so annoying in, example, goblin madness seeing your flame titan go from attacking the castle to going completely reverse almost back to YOUR base from the goblins behind him.....should be a setting to push through or to set to highest threat.
I don't get the point of Felcity or whatever her name is, you can get Roald to do just as much damage and actually take a hit. I find it silly how we get her late in the game and she dies in the first turn almost every time. Might as well never have made her a party member if she is this useless
lol love the random boss difficulty spikes, 1st was a joke, 2nd took me about 20 tries of getting owned and last fight i casually win since i had a skill that did 300% dmg that critted when I have 300% crit damage...one shotted it, 3rd boss I used food that did +2000 hp due to his insane nonstop critting....never got critted once so it was wasted.
Game is fun so far, but the bosses are MASSIVE FAILS. If a sequel is made, dev needs to seriously consider a new idea on bosses. Preferably make them more consistant(no 1st or 2nd boss being able to pull off 1 shot kills and make people ragequit the game)
Back on the skill thing I said before, now that i have played the game for several hours, i kinda wished that they are worthwhile, my mage character for instance uses its normal attack 90% of the time since the only skill that does more damage is the 2nd level lightning spell. I understand the affects, but some spells are completely useless, boulder spell cost 25 mana but does roughly the same damage WITH no added affect, fireball cost 40 and does same damage when i could use boil which is 50 but does maybe a quarter more damage AS well as the burn over time. Don't even get me started on AoE spells. I was so happy when Alyss got iron rain, only to see it do like 15s to everyone when her normal attack did like 50s. I just find this strange since the 1st game revolved around skills.
Also has anyone else found it annoying how an enemy could be stunned or frozen, yet still somehow block an attack?
idk if it was just me, but I think it is kinda silly how normal attacks for me do more damage then skills. Then again i just started the game so maybe it will change. This game does not fail to impress, so far its even better then the 1st. 6/5!
hate this game compared to the 1st one, pisses me off how if a zombie with a weapon runs up to the barricade, any survivors die in 1 hit no matter what, its so stupid, at least in the 1st game it took a few swings before they died, and if you have no followers left your good as dead
......love how i don't have a save anymore, almost beat the game, and i come back and my save is gone.... good game, but SERIOUSLY need that fixed saves. 1/5 until it is fixed or fixed in a possible 3rd game
can't buy crafting materials, crafting is pretty much useless now, the tactical battles are a joke, went from the boring, easy defending missions in crusade to now anyone that isn't melee is useless due to units going across the entire map in a single move, plus the bonuses you should have got from crusade, half don't even work, i got every single one in the last game and only the few item ones and 1 +10 hp bonuses were given. Also the items given are worthleess, whats the point when they are exactly the same as the starting gear you buy if not worse? (ex. crusader bow is WORSE then the 1st bow you buy, 1d10 vs 2d6). Plus money becomes worthless very quickly. This game is a complete failure compared to the far better made Crusade
very fun game, but some dungeons are just plain flat out overly difficult. chaos barracks i believe its called is a perfect example, the warriors are all easy to kill, and yet the mage just flat out slaughter you, most fights bring you to half hp from full, and thats IF your even at full

If a skill is doing less damage than the normal attack you can guarantee it's doing something else as well (buffing/debuffing/bleeding/poisoning/etc)
