Thank you, all commenters, for reminding me why I have fond childhood memories of the OLDER games and not this one! I heard about the bugged endgame and went back to 2 happily back when it was posted! And again in 2025, you've saved my nostalgia flash game day!

Now that it doesn't work anywhere else, what do you say to preserving the full game here? Or somewhere.

That glitch ... my battle HUD is still there in the village, and now I can't do anything. There's nothing I can do but reload ... and now my game is over.
