By far, one of the best games I've played on Kongregate. Awesome plot, very good gameplay, and it was all done in a very short amount of time. Can't congratulate the maker enough =)!
Some frame rate issues, but overall good game. Nybx4life comment said it all: angel wings + helmet left after 240m and you should be fine on the hard badge. Memorizing the path though is a bit troublesome.
Just got the impossible badge. A few impressions: Using the ASDF configuration seems a lot less intuitive to me. I've tried it for a while and didn't get used to it at all, while 1234 always seems sort of obvious. The blue songs are kinda simple. After playing a while you get used to them and they are all doable. From those, I think the last 2 are the hardest. The right column is a different story - if you don't have any prior experience with rhythm games, be ready to spend some time on them. To me, the trickiest song to perfect is Plan A, given the complicated freeze note patterns, despite the rest of the song not being so hard. Betrayal of Fate also has a difficult part in the end of the song, be ready to get screwed in that part a lot of times. All in all, you just have to practice, there's no other way around it. If you came from beatmania or any other rhythm game, this might be a piece of cake. If that's not the case, just keep trying, it will come to you eventually =). Have fun!
Since you can't see your enemies when you shoot them, it'd be only fair if their shooting was a bit random too. Just like every other game in the Bubble Tank series, this one is awful. It's just mindless clicking randomly until you get lucky enough to earn more bubbles than you lost. Seems like one of those games the creator didn't go through the trouble of playing to check if the game was actually decent.
After quite a while, got the impossible badge. If you are used to other rhythm games like Beatmania, this badge won't be THAT hard, but the fact that the game chokes sometimes (due to Flash itself I guess) makes it much more difficult @_@. Great game nonetheless.
Am I the only one who feels that the Hard badge should be an impossible badge? 2 absurdly difficult requirements for just a Hard badge feels like a major waste of time.
Hard badge is luck based. This sucks to an unbelievable extent. I already got it btw, just ranting because I'd really love to see changes in this game that would make it great.
Dragons can't be killed without Divine Edge. This makes this game suck to an absurd extent. Nice concept though, tweak it and we'll have one of the best games ever in Kongregate.
Haha, I feel the need to comment again. Why no retry button when you lose? I just lost my first match replaying against the last boss - why do I have to navigate all the way through the fight again instead of just playing one button, once?
Also, what's with the glitch that happens when you click on "Give Up" and rush back to the fight, and the first turn is your opponent's and he never makes his move, freezing the game?
After the initial presentation, I've set my expectations for this game very high, but I regret it, for this is utter garbage.
Hmm...playing it further, I'd like to remove everything I've said. This game is plain bullshit and is almost 100% luck-based. Waste your time developing something less luck dependent next time.
