Hey, thanks for your comment as well. Yeah, I was kind of shocked about the downvoting. I mostly wrote it to make sure the Pixelo is solvable (I found one that had two solutions – and now I can’t remember which one it was) and as a programming exercise. The first version solved some hard puzzles in 30 minutes :) so I was very proud of my “bathroom moment” when I came up with an idea that solves it all in seconds.
I am also lazy (heh, software devs!) so I didn’t want to go into more complex pattern recognition to remove the damn arrows so I can correctly read the digits when they are covered by them. A minority of the puzzles (the hard ones that have a lot of digits on the last few rows) are not solvable because of that.
