A easy way to dodge the laser is to stand right next to him, away from the direction where the laser is pointing. Then smash him to move him away from the edge of the screen. Since he moves when you hit him you don't have to worry about jumping on the platforms to dodge the laser.
My adventurers keeps going back to town even after i connected the entrance to the exit with 4 levels unlocked. So my adventurers never reach floor 2. Why?
