If you don't have enough iron, does it buy the missing iron? or does it slow down steel production?

The game was fun at first, but it got boring. Not everything scales at the same speed, this causes certain things to become irrelevant as time goes on. First your own work becomes worthless compared to the Trimps. Then your trimps work becomes worthless compared to the loot. So their is nothing left tot he game except clearing maps.

It was fun, I felt like the game was going to slow, until I realized what ascension and resetting the game does. Was I figured that our I shot off like a rocket. I have finished the game now. All the upgrades are Maxed and their is nothing left to buy. Sense their is actually and end to the game where you can not do anything else, it would be nice if their was some sort of ending, beyond just being stuck.
