Yet another subpar offering from Armor Games.

Having just discovered the whole "idle game" genre as a way to incorporate gaming into my quasi-work schedule, I must say that I'm amused. More crisp art would improve this game drastically though. You're still more talented than me, but speaking as a matter of personal preference, I think art/graphics are more important in this style of game. Yeah, I'm tabbing away and not staring at the screen long-term, but something more pleasant to look at when I DO come back would definitely be nice.

I write a column about web games, and this one's being watched closely for a more polished form.

I kept having EBF 3 recommended to me by the site, so I decided to check out where it all began. (It's what I do with any of the "in a series" games that I have suggested, so I can follow any storyline stuff and whatnot) If this had a save option, it would have been an easy 5 for me. As it sat, I gave it a three, because I also think the game would have been much better with a better fleshed out plot. That being said, I enjoyed the game enough to move on to number two, particularly due to some VERY attractive art and sound. Sound is often overlooked in games, and you've done an awesome job at the sound on this one. I'm looking forward to seeing what sort of improvements have been made for the next iteration. (Which I'll play within the next day.)

I'm not going to jump on the "this game sucks" bandwagon, because I probably couldn't do much better. (Nor would I have the attention span to keep bothering with it.) ..That being said.. 1)Graphics are horrific. Sorry, but I'm not sure that MS paint is the best program for your artwork. If you want to do a choose your own adventure style game, perhaps just stick to text only. (Like Zork) 2)There was NO context for what was going on. I really had no idea what I was doing, or why. I'm going to be honest with you here: I played for perhaps two minutes, and really didn't enjoy it for a moment. Again, if you're trying to do a choose your own adventure type game, you REALLY need to give context to what's going on.

This is definitely a solid time waster, though in future incarnations of the game (sequels or updates) having a save feature would push this game into the "great" category. I'm a fan of the ability to earn new titles, and the semi-random character selection. You've found ways to encourage replaying your game. I wholeheartedly look forward to your next game.
