Oh my god... that final level! As someone who's earned most of the impossible badges on this site, I can say definitively that this should be an impossible badge. Definitely one of the hardest achievements I've ever completed. Also, what a brilliant game! It did have several glitchy moments which were unfortunate, but the concept is genius. I am always blown away when a developer can create such a brutally difficult, challenging game using only 1 or 2 buttons. The levels were very clever and the pacing was great. I loved every moment of it, even when I was sighing in frustration. Well done! now I look forward to delving into the player-made levels to see what fresh hell awaits me there...
The game is straight up broken, and it should never have made it to any kind of badges or quest. It's bad enough that it's yet another 1-button launch "game" where you do nothing but grind; but on top of that, my progress has been erased, upgrades screen won't scroll, kongpanions won't activate, power generators stop working, and gameplay itself goes in & out. And I've tried on 3 separate browsers. I'm not spending another second with this garbage. Either the developer fixes the broken crap that never should have been published, or Kong reads all these negative comments and takes appropriate action. Till then, I'm done with this mess.
I'm a terrible badge whore. But I use my laptop for my job, so for the sake of keeping my laptop intact (and not smashed to pieces) this is one impossible badge I will not even attempt.
Just the right length: enough content to fully satisfy without becoming repetitive or too much grinding. Very fleshed out in terms of character design and powers, no one is overly powerful or weak and you can play to your strengths however you want. The graphics are kind of whimsical and charming, I'm surprised there isn't more lag since it looks so great. This game will always hold a special place for me since it was this badge that gave me the final points needed to reach Kong's level 65 cap :)
I'd love to see a sequel.
I can't explain exactly what it is that makes this experience so endearing, but I adored this game. I haven't seen such a fresh, unique concept in a flash game in a long time. I salute your refreshing new approach to the original, traditional puzzle.
For a bullet hell game like this it's much more enjoyable when you have the precision of a mouse rather than jerky movements of key presses. If it's an option for player 2, why not give us the option to use mouse movements for player 1?
Some Fun Facts: No one ever enters the pool, they just sit in the deck chairs. According to the calendar on screen, each film at the cinema is about 1 week long. The people in the internet cafe appear to just be using a shake-weight the whole time. And how'd you like to be the guy in the presidential suite right UNDER the bowling alley?
Finally!! The last hard badge on this game is seriously the most time-consuming badge on this site. I've gotten the impossibles for Monster's Den, Balloon Invasion and more; nothing else even came close to the amount of time I had to pour into this game for 1 badge. If you attempt it, be warned; I reached it at 139 days in-game and HOURS of real-time play. It will take Forever!
The single most original, inventive flash game I've played in a LONG time. Incredibly clever, fantastical, and a joy to watch and play. What an inspired journey of imagination and ingenuity. I love it.
I'm sorry, the energy system is downright unforgivable at this point. I'm on mission 59 and it costs 21 energy to play a single round (out of 7 to win the mission). That means I can only play a total of 4 rounds before I don't have enough energy to continue. I actually really enjoy the game but the developer's choice to so severely limit our ability to play it is completely absurd.
What I don't understand is how the developer STILL has not listened to the hundreds of comments asking for the ability to see the world you're creating develop. We've said from the beginning that we want to see these new elements in an environment that we're constantly changing. I realize that would be a difficult thing to do, but at least try. This is still the exact same game we had in Doodle God 1.
