Hey, I've been enjoying this game for the last couple of days! However, v1.2 introduced a massive boo-boo. The game no longer runs when the window it's in loses focus. That makes the game a ***LOT*** less playable. I do like the other changes, and I don't mind spending SP on automation. But that one change makes it a lot less likely that people will play.
This is actually kind of clever. While I do prefer idle games with a more specific theme -- like raise an infinite army to conquer an infinite number of lands, or clone an infinite number of tangerine cats -- I like what you've got going here, and I hope you continue to make more games that put a clever twist on old categories.
Also this game loaded just fine in my copy of Firefox, but I had to temporarily enable some sites in NoScript that SHOULD have nothing to do with this game, but do anyway (I don't know which ones, I just temp allowed everything).
So just throwing it out there, but as of today the game does not save. I manually saved, and waited 30 seconds for it to finally actually save, then shut down my browser. Next day, all progress was gone.
"Please deactivate Adblock to make [the save system work." I'm guessing your day job is either ambulance-chaser, or a non-worker at the DMV. If it was possible to give this -10 stars, I would. Instead I have to give 1 star to everything you have ever made. Please tell your therapist that you need a real job and should never touch a computer ever again.
Okay ignore my last comment. I did not spend enough time verifying whether or not my previous game was saved when I decided to post it. Saving works just fine.
There does not appear to be anything here. I get the Unity symbol and a loading bar underneath that, but nothing even tries to load. And I've white-listed everything on this page in No Script.
Well, it's a solid foundation! Though after about 15 minutes of play I got the following error: "An error occurred running the Unity content on this page. See your browser JavaScript console for more info. The error was:
InvalidStateError: A mutation operation was attempted on a database that did not allow mutations." It didn't crash the game, however, so I have no idea what did or did not happen that was not supposed to was supposed to happen. And not to nag, but you ARE missing a planet here. ;)
thanks Silverbolt :) good to see that the foundation was successful, still a lot to do though. Anyway, about this error, I've never seen anything like it, but I'll presume it has to do with the KongAPI rather than the game code, as it envolves javascript, and the only thing containing javascript are the calls to the API in HTML files. I'll take a good look at it.
Oh, and about the missing planet, if you mean Pluto, I'm sorry, but I can't put Neil DeGrasse Tyson in the thank you notes at the credits and include Pluto at the same time hehe. If it's not about Pluto, I'm sorry too because I don't remember any other planet, and even did a quick search after reading your comment, most sources shows only those planets... maybe there's a more recent discovery that I'm not aware of? Will have to dig deeper.
Thanks for your feedback, will continue to improve the game (some major changes at UI already in the oven). Appreciate your support.
I've been trying every night since last Thursday, the one and only time I could play this game, but the game still will not load regardless of whatever tweaks you do to the memory since then. That said, I like what you've got going here. It's definitely a work in progress, but I can tell that you've played lots of idle/clicker games and have some ideas about what actually makes them work. Though yes, the last time I played active clicking ***VASTLY*** outstripped all idling.
Well, it IS creative, and the huge gameplay area is an absolutely wonderful change of pace from Flash games that try to cram everything into a square that takes up 20-25% of your screen. HOWEVER... the creator tries decidedly too hard to part fools from their money. So I'll give it three stars. I get that game developers have to eat too, but this is just absurd.
I really like what you got going here! But unfortunately, whatever you changed for memory allocation overnight made it worse, and I can no longer get it to load. Running Firefox 60.0.2 (and no, I'm not going to use any other browsers).
Clicking on anything does nothing. Clicking on the green box flashes that box and makes a sound, but otherwise does nothing whatsoever. Clicking on the red box flashes that box and makes a sound, but otherwise does nothing whatsoever. Clicking on the icon that looks like an open door takes me back to the main menu... okay, ONE of the three buttons actually does something.
I'm going to guess this is still in Beta development. It's a start, but it lags HORRIBLY with every single click. Click too many times too quickly, and the game just locks up. Granted, I do have an old and primitive computer, not optimized for gaming, but this sort of thing should be taken into account (for what it's worth, I am running Firefox 60.0.1 with several nonoptional add-ons, including NoScript and uBlock Origin).
I am sorry for the inconvenience. But that is the game engine's limit.
I suggest to use Chrome instead of Firefox. I think you can feel better.
And I will find the way to improve it. thanks
The browser could not allocate enough memory for the WebGL content. If you are the developer of this content, try allocating less memory to your WebGL build in the WebGL player settings. (Firefox 60.0.1)
Like everyone else, I have no idea what I'm doing. Unlike everyone else, I am not having fun. I am getting 100 Dc/s and climbing with minimal effort, I cannot create any more nodes, nothing will sacrifice no matter how many buttons I click, and I am not allowed to time warp with no explanation of why not. I can tell that you did put effort into this, but I still can't give it any more than one star.

When I try to play, my character refuses to walk anywhere. He will move onto the tile that I clicked, and then bounce right back to square one. So I cannot chop anything.
For what it's worth, I also run Firefox on a very primitive (for 2018) rig, with multiple add-ons like NoScript and uBlock Origin, and the game runs fine for me. As for the game itself... well, it's a start! Runs smoothly on my old system. I'll rate it after it's got more playability features -- but I'm looking forward to it!
Which Browser are you using and what is your setup in general? It's a regular WebGL Export from Unity.
