For level 21, here is the actual procedure: move arrow pointing down (on top right) to the right, move arrow pointing left (on bottom right) to point up, then move arrow pointing down (on top left) to point up.
A strange glitch: when buying large numbers of stock, sometimes the number of tangerines that I have left over is negative. So to fix this, I play Double or Nothing until I "lose" all my negative tangerines.
The hardest thing for me was the "capture 15 saboteurs" mission. I had 56 guards, I thought that would be enough, but no. Then I realized that I needed to "turn on" their dash ability that I had bought for them. Suddenly, many saboteurs caught.
I wish that during a paused game, we could start ships going on journeys. This seems to be one of the things the AI can do very well: splitting up their troops to several locations, while I'm juggling the % bar and trying to get one planet in line...
It would be nice if there was a "give up/quit this level" button. You know, for those moments when you meet the boss with your one last guy and you know you can't win but it takes like five minutes to die.
Thoughts:
(1) Is Pac-Man supposed to only show up in the final boss battle? I'm trying to collect all the costumes, so this makes collecting him hard. Also, why are there two of the orange headband ninja turtles? (Maybe the second one should be Pac-Man?)
(2) It would be nice if we could make the chest opening go faster (click to make it go away for example) since it's agonizingly slow (especially when empty)
Couldn't beat level 8, so I went back to level 1. Man, it's fun to show the computer-controlled enemies what it's like when your opponent gets capital ships out before you've got anything that can stop them.
The wiki's nice, but I wish there was a forum where people could discuss general tactics. For example, I'm pretty stuck on level 7 as none of my basic tactics seem to work (like (1) build 2 small miner ships, one energy building thing, and one laser to try to hold out long enough to build bigger things only for my opponents to build better capital ships (in addition to all the small and medium stuff) just as I'm able to afford the space port (but no capital ship yet) or (2) build big smashy guns quickly only for the opponent to have force fields or anti-projectile turrets).
Would be nice if there was an even faster speed. Trying to get that "one year" achievement is brutal when you've accomplished everything else by month 7 or 8.
Hmmm, after upgrading to a certain point, I can't play the game. I get to the ship upgrade screen and it's all weird, and pushing the button to Go on doesn't do anything. So I have to reload to fix this.
Pro Tip: if you want the game to go faster, don't actually watch it. Go to another tab or window or even just scroll down (and listen for the fast carnage). This helps a lot against, say, Greg.
I'd really love an "unequip all" option. After getting lots of survivors and lots of equipment, it would be nice to take everything off and reassign things more easily.
I'm in the tunnel after breaking out my jail cell. And now I'm stuck. Apparently, there's supposed to be a rope to climb. But there's no rope. :( Game over, I guess.
My favorite part is the extreme realism. :) The hardest achievement was not picking up anybody for 30 seconds. But it was a pain to get the very last achievement: having to play 25 games. I got the other achievements long before then, so I had to do a few quick suicides.
