Of course the guy in Logic Land has pointy ears and wears blue. OF COURSE. I love you for this, it makes the whole section 10x more fun.

After somehow getting both a bat'leth and a lightsaber on my longest run yet, I spent an inordinate amount of time comparing their numbers and trying to determine what they say about the developer's stance in the unending Trek vs. Wars debate... LOL.
I admit the beginning isn't very inviting, but I needed 4 more points to level up and finishing the game would give me 5, so I kept going. I don't regret it one bit. I love the story, and it's remarkable how likable the characters are despite the fact that they have very few distinguishing traits and they don't even have names. A textbook case of "less is more".
Finally finished it as a Light merchant. 5/5 because it's in SPAAAACE! Seriously, I mean it--it's a great game, but it would be 4/5 if I weren't so obsessed with space.
I love that you get to customize your ship, I love the storyline (even if it's oversimplified: if you establish that one side is "good" and the other is "evil", why would the player want to choose Darkness, other than the curiosity of seeing what happens?), I even like the planets' names, and I especially love the fact that this game, unlike many of its kind, is simple enough to be relaxing and not feel like a chore.
However, I find that the combat goes from feeling impossible (it took me some time to get the hang of the defensive part) to feeling too easy, and going back and forth from planet to planet was a bit repetitive after a while.
Still, don't get me wrong, I LOVED this. I would have squee'd even harder if you had the chance to name your character as well as choose the alignment and class.
This is strangely addictive, but I honestly can't believe my own bad luck in the relationship department. Whether I choose to play a girl or a guy, if and when I manage to get married, he or she always dies. I also don't understand the sudden, seemingly unjustified, "health drops".

Um... I did a little happy dance when I finally completed one of the Star Trek themed sets, only to find out it was called "kpock". And no, I'm not complaining that the name is spelled wrong, I do understand what copyright is. I'm just pointing out that the set includes a bat'leth. Okaaaaay... if you say so...

Anyway, 3 stars because it has cats and they look cute. If it weren't part of the Cuteness Overload quest, I would have given up on this long ago.
