isawrawr, the weapons can overlap each other.
I just finished the game. Decent, but nothing special. Sorry, but it was not as enjoyable as the first two. The money bomb starting at like level 17 seemed a bit out of place too, and seemed to only serve the purpose of ending the game.
Now the game locks up on level 4 each reset for some reason. My guys just stop going to the next objective. It's happened for the past 5 resets at this point.
Cave 7, bottom right chest keeps locking up my game. It works fine after a reboot, but it has happened for my past half dozen dark rituals (when grinding the first 25 levels and having Overseers with things on basically autopilot).
OK, so I thought I'd support this game by buying some diamonds. I was already at a 16x multiplier (from a previous 2x and an 8x), so I bought a 16x multiplier this time. Now I am still at 16x so I feel like I got ripped off for $5.
Either there is a bug with the new feature to show purchased speed boost, or there is a bug when buying multiple speed boosts. When the diamonds reset a couple updates ago, I bought an 8x boost and then soon after another 2x. My stats screen only shows 8x, but I know things went faster when I bought the 2x (though I have since reset and I was thinking it was running slower, but that might be in my head because this game is still slooooow).
The last update finally broke the progression wall, at least for now, and I thank you for that. I was able to use the reclaimed gems to buy an 8x and a 2x upgrade, and that combined 16x speed increase made all the difference. The gem-bought time slots I lost were quickly replaced thanks to new achievements so I barely missed them.
It's a shame that doesn't help newer players nearly as much though. Chances are they'll end up with more time slots than they really end up needing and not nearly as much speed increase.
The update before this one messed up some of my achievements. I know I had Fast Food, Restaurant, Lifeguard, and Vet all to the max level (I spent a playthrough focusing on jobs). Now only Fast Food is maxed and the rest show one job title left. It'd take me days to regrind those damn things.
I like the game, but it has balancing issues. The hobby leveling times are insane and the higher level jobs need to pay more.
When the "pro athelete" job barely pays more than a janitor, but takes up 3 times as many more time slots, there's a problem.
The new boss fights have promise, but why are the ships not aiming for the center mass? There is no reason for them to aim at its extremes only for the shots to miss as the boss moves up and down.
If I were you, I'd change the description of your game so that the summary of the game comes before the mention of the bug. It makes it look like a broken game when you read the summary on Kong's main page.
The resolution is off on mine. The bottom of the screen is cut off and i can't see how many I have of the bottom upgrades. I tried zooming in and out but that didn't help.
I wish it'd take out the resources for building things at the beginning instead of the end. It keeps breaking because something I am crafting uses up a couple of the resources.
The reset bonus is a bit overpowered. By the time i get done right clicking everything to get them back to automated, it's time to reset again.
I have done it a couple times, but now it is really ridiculous. Went from 150K to 4M in the few seconds it took me to right click things.
