Audio controls are found in the Options menu (located in the menu). The only purchases I can think of without labels are the core game mechanics which don't change throughout the game, so after the very first purchase theres nothing new to know (if you don't see prices though, just click the 'arrow' button on the right side, thats a different UI layout). As for the text popups, I am not aware of any bugs that do anything like that, if you could send me a screenshot I can see whats going on.
The gold earned to upgrade cost/enhancement is horrible. Unfortunately, I see this more and more, growing worse over time, with games like this and games that have a mobile platform counterpart. You want the plays, the money from it to support future endeavors, I support that. But I can't recommend this to anyone the way it is now. I don't mean to imply "hand me an effortless game" I just want to actually feel like I'm getting more powerful and not after 10 hours of this running to do so, that's absurd.
I'm missing credit for some things. I have every level and bonus stage complete, but upon selection of save file it shows that I am missing some (28/30). I also show 14 / 15 for Phantogone Badge, however this may be due to the fact that it gave me a Victory after causing his shield to go down once, though he still had a large amount of health remaining.
Very buggy game, lacking AI, expensive costs to upgrades, false sense of difficulty that has some luck factor to it and a become overwhelmed and kite the enemies factor that is very boring, tedious. Seemingly no updating of this on the way. Lack of any type of communication from developers. Very, very disappointing.
The AI is awful, archer especially. Constantly tries to position himself to not be hit which causes him to not attack and still get hit. Even worse when you add in the bonus rounds which are essential for completion.
No reset for traits is a no-no. Cost to income ratio is awful. Slow victory and death screens. RNG for Sudden Death to some extent with Ranged off screen. Trying to dodge roll constantly can help, but isn't 100%.
This has potential but needs work. It feels like the obvious, common sense aspects that should be applied to any game, were completely ignored.
Have to improve the aiming. If wanting to keep the gravity thing there needs to be more movement on the archer or a separate bar that helps show the small changes there are, rather than the current system of a few movements at certain large intervals.
