As I continued to play through the lag, I came to the realization that if you remove as much dirt from the screen, so only 1 block on each section, my fps went from 7 average to 12 average. Maybe its something in the pixel rendering?

Still a ton of lag. 7 fps average, only about a 10th of the clicks register. New dirt forms after the first window now, so atleast your miners keep going. Keep working on those updates.
