I'm generally a fan of this game, but I find the Anthill Madness minigame to be frustrating in a very un-fun way. Having to move in the direction you shoot is infuriating.
Hi Sir_Cadogan. Do you have any suggestions to improve this minigame? What you find un-fun was meant to be part of the challenge, but may be changed if not appreciated at all. EDIT: the minigame was changed, and you can now throw blob balls with the keyboard. No more need to struggle with the mousepad :)
Clicking/mouse does not register properly for me. I have to hold down left click and drag the mouse over to a button/block for it to register that my mouse is there, then release and click again. If I don't click and drag first, clicking boxes/buttons does nothing.
The transfer system from tier to tier seems horribly broken. The 'max' setting doesn't work, and the increments (x65^1, x65^2, etc.) seem to be locked until you are a full power above them, so you have to have 65 times the amount of required resources available in order to transfer.
Without changing any points I went from having 5 bikes complete race 3 to no bike being able to make it past the first lap of race 3. How does that work? Did they just randomly forget the entire track?
@drc162 I'm experiencing the same problem with Legacy upgrades on Chrome.
Low Grade holy sword, intermediate sword manual, intermediate cultivation manual, high grade holy sword, advanced sword manual and advanced cultivation manual have all been purchased in the legacy upgrades, and none of them work.
Don't buy the pop size upgrades unless you absolutely have to, it makes it harder to get higher chains, which means smaller income. You'll finish faster if you don't buy it until last.
If resources are ordered Money>Stone>Wood>Food, then costs should be ordered the same way. Having it in a different order (Stone and Food are swapped) makes it more annoying to tell if you can afford upgrades at a glance.
The skateboard hitbox does not cover the entire skateboard. Clicking the lower third does nothing.
The shop buttons (skateboard in lower left corner and half-pipe in lower right corner) do not stand out enough from the background to be immediately obvious, and could probably benefit from labeling as well. No one really likes clicking a button without knowing what it does.
Inside the shop menus, the white text does not stand out enough. Give it an outline, put it in a solid colour or semi-transparent square, or change the background, because it's not easily readable.
The black arrows to escape the shop menus are nearly invisible on those backgrounds, especially the shop opened from the bottom left. That has to be fixed.
You call the currency 'tricks', but say the items in the shop cost '$'. That makes it seem like two different currencies. Either change it so that clicking earns you '$' instead of 'tricks', or change it so that shop items cost 'tricks' to purchase.
There should probably be some kind of in-game indicator to tell you how close you are to a resource tier's reset so we know how much time/resource we need
make sure that you do not use plugins that block server communication like noscript. the only reason that you could lose everything is that you blocked our cloud save and your browser cleared your cookies.
