I just finished the tasks First-aid kit and The exam. According to the wiki, the task Investment should follow but it did not show up. Am I missing another prerequisite?
@Sheepchencloud: Thank you. My traps are full now, even though it took longer than expected. I even saw one trap trigger without any pest coming near it.
How long does it usually take to catch a pest with a trap? I ask because I have been waiting for almost an hour and the trap has not triggered, yet. I even put the trap right before a pest and it walked through it without triggering it. I wonder what this means for the timed task "The exam".
Yeah, the devs do not talk to everyone, it seems. Well, it cannot be helped. Since I do not have a Discord account and do not plan to get one, either, I will continue to post my comments here.
I also think that the Generator building should be named Power Station again, like in the old version. There are so many buildings called generator already that produce coins or other things, like generator of pipes, lamp generator, even one that is also just called generator, it is rather confusing. IMO the name Power Station would make clear that it is a different building.
Many of the mission names and descriptions in the new version are very poor compared to the old version. For example, I currently have the task "Visiting the Rubber". IMO the old name "Go to Friends' house to take Rubber" was much better. Also the term "friends" was better than "guests". I wonder why the devs do not use the old texts.
I really miss the flash version. There are so many features missing that were in the old version, it simply does not feel complete. And no word from the developers if they will return at all.
@SilverClaws123: Thank you. I guess that is my problem then. I cannot build the greenhouse since I have neither finished the Ancient Temple chapter nor the Glass Merchants quest. I suppose that disqualifies me for this event.
@murpet: Since the pests guard some object, it can help to move the object it is guarding to lure it out. I think pests never guard water pumps, at least I have never seen this.
Recently I accidentally sold two deco objects because I clicked the wrong button. It would be nice if the game would ask if you really want to sell something before actually doing it.
There seem to appear lots of armadillos and almost no pests on my map recently. Yesterday I had three armadillos at once and I suspect that they keep pests from appearing. Which is bad since I have two active tasks that require me to kill pests and killing armadillos burns a lot of resources.
@restorationgl: I don't have a scroll wheel on my mouse since I hate those things. I would prefer a way to set the camera zoom and keep it that way instead of having to fiddle with it every now and then.
I found some kind of solution to the problem with the missing zoom function. First I tried to use the browser's zoom function in full screen mode, but the results were undesirable since the graphics became blurred and pixelated. So I tried the opposite: I set the zoom factor in the browser and then switched to full screen mode which seems to work. The only problem with this method is that the zoom factor is reset whenever you go to another location, like visiting friends or the surroundings. But it will do until we hopefully get a real in-game zoom function. Please vote this up so others can find it.

Today I tried to gather resources from my random friends' camps and got an error message. It seems like it is no longer possible to collect resources from inactive friends. I just wonder what's the point in having randomly selected accounts auto-accept friendship requests if there is nothing one could with them - not even delete them again.
