Apparently gameplay varies a lot. I see someone complaining about raids coming too slow, yet they annoy the hell out of me. For several chapters now I have started with all the raids completed for that chapter, however I have been on ch7 for three days because I can't get enough of the level 2 evolve potions. I can't count how many dungeons I have raided and how many gambles I have done (I would estimate it at 8-10 hours active just looking for potions). Raids just act as an interruption to my repeated attempts to farm potions. So far I have gotten 3 potions of 6 needed for the chapter, but I am giving up. It has become to stagnant for me to enjoy.
@Akharra, the tech building has a page button at the bottom. You need to research some of the things on late pages......or so it looks, I haven't done it yet.
No more objectives? Did I miss something? I got every reaction for every item and my character gives up? I expected to either become a zombie or cure them, but just throwing my hands in the air was anticlimactic. I could have done that hours ago.
Fun game, but a little easy to walk on the the enemies once learning the mechanics.
Powerful magic strategy:
Use nothing dealing with iron except the repairs and the card that gives you 30 iron.
10-11 gold mines, dark merchants etc
3 crystal mines (perhaps one ancient mine, you have 10 iron left over from your scrap card)
Any other instant pay gold, souls, and crystals you might have.
Do not attack at all at the start of battle. Focus everything you can on drawing cards and gathering resources. Let the enemy walk freely into your portal. Once you can't draw any more cards because your hand and armies spots are full, start sending in your troops. Remember to use repairs before you kill your opponent, this way you will make max cash. Throw in several portal growth to net a bit more money each fight. This strategy will run through you deck or come very close to it every time.
WARNING BEFORE FINAL BOSS: If you plan to continue on in infinite mode, ditch your unwanted loot before fighting the corrupter in the pentagram. It gives you some nice goodies for beating him, but you can only get as many as the number of open spots you have. The option to ditch something else at the end of battle seems to be missing.
Really fun game. The key to victory at epic levels is chaining invulnerability and time stop. This strategy can beat everything with some minor tweaking on the mass goblin and final giant levels.
