Having everything locked behind the quests and levels sucks. It means I'm at 1 million in cash with double plutonium cell and a stable reactor but I have to wait 2 hours for the megawattage+ quest(10M power) or 3 hours for the yellow-bellied(deplete 30 plutonium cells) only to get 1 or 2 more parts and another hours-long wait
Switching between web tabs and pages with this open kinda breaks the game where the fighting stops and the in-game tabs will layer when clicking between
So just started and one thing that really stood out to me, made my experience so much better, just the star of the show: Would you like to skip the tutorial? OH HELL YES. The number of these idle games that hand hold you for 10 minutes or so is just too many
This game is rather broken in a few bad ways and the two that stand out are the happiness gained from expense ratio and the happiness gained from Home. The first being I would not be happier losing $13 than I would gaining $13 everyday, it's not incentive to have the happiness decrease just because I'm making more money which happens as you stay with a job. I'm losing happiness as I'm being promoted. The other point is that happiness from Homes start at some point but periodically housing loses .15. A decrease in evaluation for every housing which makes no sense as that would never happen in real life. But this has the side effect that with Energy being the final decider in everything the best action is to just live in your parents basement and put the money into the food
Tl:dr don't waste money on Home the game makes it worthless anyway put the time and money into food. And it's rather stupid that I'm less happy that I'm making more money.
Thanks for your feedback. I actually think both of what you described is realistic (although you possibly misunderstood how exactly the housing mechanic works). As people get older, their expected standard of living tends to rise, which is simulated by the housing system. Low level homes become less attractive as you age. The mansion always gives max happiness for home. The other thing is that peoples spending tends to expand with their income (key term is 'marginal propensity to consume'). As in real life, there are trade-offs between saving money and quality of life.
Also Extreme Capacitor, while a neat idea, not practical in the slightest. The heat generated by the power output during the stage that it is needed is not met by exchangers even with magnitudes put into hyperdynamics, improved exchangers, and active exhangers. The only unit that meets the Capacitor is the Extreme Coolant but again with no way to move and deal with the heat the problem is only moved a step over. This makes both the Extreme Capacitor and Extreme Coolant Cell not only a waste of exotic particles but of time and effort as well.
The exchangers need some serious work done. If I can overload and explode an Ultimate Coolant Cell and corresponding exchanger only using a single uranium cell and at the same time use said uranium cell putting it's 200 heat into a system that has a total heat capacity in the Qi's to multiply that heat and overload every coolant cell then yeah they're buggy. Seriously can generate heat using only the exhangers and it is not practical. Cannot figure out the reverse though which would have been a more useful exploit
After having unlocked protium and the like, it will randomly lock me out of using it. I'll notice that it randomly lets me use it now and then. I was looking at the power and heat, comparing it with the quad nefastium currently in place to see if it was time to switch and when going back to the tab saw that it was locked.
Having a life system really is detrimental to this. Instead of being a trivia quiz, it makes it to where you either know it or just remember it from the time before when you had a similar question. Having it not be life based means that you would go through the entire set on a first encounter. This would lead to those who played the games when they first came out would see a higher score instead of just getting farther before having to restart.
Level 55 on endless i ran out the timer. My team was the entropyalien, 2 shadowdragons, and a corpseking. That team could go on forever if allowed to. seriously get rid of the timer on endless
Its a good game even though there are somethings that it doesnt tell you about and areas you cant reach. I think its cool how it gets more powerful the higher up, three jumps and a focus you can leave a huge dent in the ground. 5/5
