Update to my previous comment: If you're playing on a browser that has a lot of settings involving tracking, it may be preventing the game from utilizing the save file system/resetting into different modes. That said, good luck to everyone who takes on the challenge! It requires more careful planning for sure, but getting to the end is pretty rewarding
Very cute game! The logical thinking with how to use the keys and and what to take on next was nice, the puzzles were also fun to figure out. Ran into an unfortunate bug when trying to reset to hardcore though- the button wasn't working. I refreshed the page to see if I could restart that way and it set me to the beginning with the button gone on a normal run. Replaying it a second time it still wouldn't let me restart with hardcore
With these card collector games you usually expect to be given more than just the starters. I've been playing for nearly an hour now and I've still got the same three I began with because the drop rate is so low. Having these as BoTD feels terrible in the first place every time they come up, but at this point I'm considering quitting kong all together because of how often these grindy wastes of time get shoved down our throats. I'm not having fun anymore and that's probably one of the worst things for a game platform.
Hey be wary that if you don't play for awhile your save might get completely and utterly wiped, even if you're manually saving. 383 achievements, all badges except for the last one, and when I just came back to it I'm at zero with nothing listed in the saves.
To anyone struggling with the BOTD not updating: once you've hit the 1300 strength minimum, refresh the page. It only updated once I did, for some reason it seems to only check your stats upon booting the game up on some systems.
Loved coming back to this one!! Even though I already earned the badge I went back in to play it again, I love the concept of swapping between the background and the foreground. It makes for some incredibly fun puzzles!
7 hours and 25 minutes but I got to 100% and got the hard badge!! Seriously, for as much dialogue and gameplay that's actually here I think the developer should take it to a console platform. Like one of those games you can pick up for a dollar or two on the xbox or playstation store. There's more than enough to call this a fully developed game and I thoroughly enjoyed getting to the ending.
I absolutely love the game. It's adorable in it's graphics, I got all kinds of attached to Birb. Such a sweet round puff. The concepts behind the game are really cool and I enjoyed it thouroughly! That said, PLEASE KEEP DEVELOPING! It's such a good game, I could easily see it going front page on steam, the mechanics just aren't there yet. This Much Wood is driving me insane. I didn't miss a single note, not one. 12 good hits, 59 great and 16 excellent hits, but out of all 87 I hit every one after playing over and over, and I'm still just shy of an A at a B. I get that it's algorithms but dang if that's one of the in game songs you might wanna make it at least nearing up to the final boss. Otherwise incredibly well done game. If you need me I'll be still playing to try to get that badge
