We don't mess with the dice rolls. It sounds like you've just been unlucky. Also, it's human nature to notice bad things that happen more than good things. (For that reason, many games tweak luck to be in the player's favor. We don't do that.)
I know this game is older, But i really wish you could increase the first hero's speed in terms of animation/attack. of all the heroes his is the most useless, as his windup is so slow, the minions kill the enemies before he gets it off
