Mr Bag, I don't think the game ever called it anything else. Yes, it means romantic love rather than just a friendship. The game takes the stance that it is ok, and tries to portray it as beautiful. If you disagree with that that's fine, but you seem to be suggesting the game was being somehow dishonest. It wasn't. The author sees that form of love as beautiful as well, and chose to portray it as such. That's how world views work. When you see something as beautiful you portray it beautifully, even if others disagree.
Mr. Bag, I disagree. I see no reason to object to any form of love between consenting adults, eros, agape, or filial. I think this game was suggesting all love in any case. What, pray tell, is wrong with eros between two consenting males?
On further review, it only works if you cast shield and intervention together. As long as you keep refreshing the intervention before it wears off it keeps you immune to damage.
Not sure if it's just me, or if it's even something that will always work, but I seem to be invincible every time I cast intervention on myself. Still get the health bonuses, but it's more like I cast a shield that lasts for 8 turns. Frankly I find it sort of ruins the game, so I'm avoiding it now, but it worked for 3 fights in a row.
You have combined two things that I am really terrible at (bullet hell games and rhythm games) and turned them into something I absolutely adore. You should be commended for that.
This game is a perfect argument that video games can be art. It has moved me as much as even the artiest film, and judging by the comments I'm not alone in that. You should be proud of what you've accomplished, xdanond.
