@sabuko: upgrade your bonus, and hang out underwater for a while. Then when you think enough gunpowder barrels have been dropped, simply set off a chain of them and eat the sailors that fall of the ships as a result. Don't stop to destroy the ships, just set off as many explosion chains and eat as quickly as possible, and you should get at least a 25 combo.
Crafting seems to be glitchy. Sometimes the sound for a successfully crafted item will not play, and the 'ok' button will not be clickable, requiring a refresh of the page.
