This is actually pretty fun. Wouldn't mind seeing one from you'll that's original (not based on another property) and had more levels, maybe XP/upgrades and more towers/defenses.
@rasher99: Your logic is amazing. What difference does ASWD/Arrow keys make? They achieve the same thing so I don't see how choosing one over the other makes you a 'noob' or a 'gamer'.
I'm a lefty. I use the mouse with my right but when it comes to ASWD/Arrow keys, the Arrow keys are more comfortable for me. Something about ASWD for moving my character around confuses my fingers when I get in a tight spot in a game. Personal problem on my part? Yeah, but having the option is always nice.
Agree with Ralfo: would like to have Arrow-Keys as an option. Also agree with others in wanting to skip dialogue when it comes up. Otherwise, great game.
I imagine I may be doing something wrong but when the flying enemies come in a big wave, I'm simply overpowered. They just tear through everything :| Need to be scaled back a little or something.
@philip georgiev: I get an error when the game starts: "Oops! An Error Has Occurred. Unable to retrieve store information." I also see no option to log into a Mochi Games account after this.
unfortunately i was not able to reproduce the bug on my side, it could be a temporary mochi breakdown if you were logged within mochi to unock achievements.
Not sure if it's been mentioned, but you apparently lose the mission if you die despite clearing it. Was using my hero as a shield for my ranged units on the final mission of Ch 1 and before I could even get out of range or the mission screen popped up, I died and was told I lost despite killing the dragon.
Security Guard should also keep employees awake and for having someone for all the other roles, why isn't there someone to answer the damn phone (maybe have the guy at the front do it) and the ability to hire a fire fighter? Or let us buy a sprinkler system or a fire extinguisher/hydrant named 'Skippy' with legs that goes around putting out the fires. Like someone else mentioned, have the Security Guard also fill the role; I mean, how often is he breaking up fights?
Feel cheated right now cause I was on the last mission for a set with my last bit of energy and had the CPU down to 1 HP. The computer kept on 'randomly' giving the Rally bonus to the unit that didn't need it and I guess the Turns 'tapped out' cause as this cycle was continuing (healing, rallying, waiting for the other card to get the rally bonus), I got a "Defeated" screen and I had 5 cards in play and nearly all my life.
For a solution to the Ninjas, how about if they run through a Poison Cloud while Invisible, they become targetable (or when carrying a gem as others have mentioned). The Ninja Bosses really do screw me over.
Even though I'm on a laptop, would like to use the Arrow Keys for movement with the KB&M controls. Wish developers would stop assigning movement to ASWD with no option to switch over to the Arrows.
Gonna have to back up some other comments here: ditch the Mine Layer and add the ability to reshuffle upgrades (and maybe see how well they affect the units).
As mentioned, a Save System would have been nice and things don't seem balanced in the way of having capable defenses to deal with everything that's thrown at you. 3/5
Pretty good. Needs to be a bit longer though. Maybe add the aspect of getting a certain number of troops across to the other side or something to draw out battles or even just defending an area for x amount of minutes. Just some variety. Also, the enemy seems lopsided with their support. I've seen them call in Mortar Strikes back-to-back and for something that's ineffective against entrenched troops, mine do squat while they can call one in and have a direct hit off the bat.
Hello SlashZaku, unfortunately its a mochi problem which i am not able to resolve atm, probably is best to not use achievements
