Further information (maybe upon mouseover) on what statistics actually do would be greatly appreciated. Right now I can't tell if I should prioritize items with more raw damage or better Attack or Dexterity stats.
Some bugs/notes:
Right now all "burn" does is reducing the opponent's max HP without harming his current hp at all, is that intended?
Also the spell "Luck" is said to cost 35 Mana but actually uses up 45 mana.
Awesome game as usual otherwise.
Fun game but too easy.
Just buy the economic books 1 and 2 as soon as you get the money for them, then buy nothing till you can buy the last weapon. Everything else looked superfluous.
Managing to be creative/innovative with a launcher game isn't easy these days, nicely done! It's fun to be able to have some control and for once in an unusual way, along with the upgrades and recurrent money system set to make it a bit more addictive. It may feel a bit minimalist at the beginning (despite the upgrades shop) but then you meet different kinds of balloons, multipliers, etc. so it turns out to be cool.
My left arm was always my least favorite arm anyway... I don't need my thighs anymore, they were just bootlegs after all... and my trunk is just some body, I can get rid of it and be somebody!
I might very well lose my head over this all...
Interesting game, with some persisting bugs/glitches/mistakes (aside from the in-game issues such as balance):
- Intellect doesn't boost experience gain at all, despite it saying otherwise. "Accuration" (accuracy) never changes at all, as displayed in the "Skills" (from the Skills Tree screen).
- Intellect training never gets you more than +8 experience even if you win 6-0 (the popping up results screen says you got 5 wins even if you get 6).
- It's almost impossible to get +10 experience from Power training either, while it's just so easy to get that in the Agility training.
Feel free to send me a message if you want me to develop the balance issues and other things that might need to get fixed. Thanks for your effort in trying to make this a good game, the hardest part is probably already done!
"Swallow this, princess!" I totally loved the voice acting there ! XD
Feels good to have one of those good old school Time Crisis-likes games, it's a really fun one. Hope you'll add more levels or will make a sequel !
TIP: For autofire: hold left click to fire normally, move the cursor out of the screen while still holding left click, then once it's out of the game's screen stop holding left click and move the cursor back in: it'll act as if you were still holding left click. Just click once to switch back to normal.
TIPS:
* You can pause the game anytime by clicking outside the flash window
* You can toggle auto-fire by clicking (and keeping the button down), then moving the cursor out of the flash window and then stop clicking and moving it back in. This also works in other games such as Action Turnip. Now you can use F to toggle auto-fire in this game though.
*When you jump/double jump keep in mind to keep the jump button down long enough, more than often when you want to double jump you might not jump as high as you could because you'd press the jump button again too early
*Improve power, jump and upgrade double jump as early as possible. Collect is a nice skill too, those will make it easier and faster to get more diamonds afterwards.
+ so everyone can see
As I'm almost done with finding all the characters (306 unlocked and 2 unlocks right now, only 8 chars left to find), here's some suggestions:
1) A level editor maybe?
2) A shop, with unlocks as currency. There you could buy:
* Friendly fire among enemies (so they can kill each other) option.
* Custom character with whatever appearance and traits/skills you want (you could also make it so you have to pay to unlock skills/traits etc beforehand for this)
* Enable a kills counter and reward a free unlock every 500 (or 1000) kills
You could make these cost like 5 unlocks each for instance, it would be nice.
I think this would be some cool incentives to keep people playing even after they've unlocked all characters... this game has so much potential really!
Yeaaah badges at last! :D
Why am I not tired of beating the game over and over to use my Unlocks for the dozen or so characters still locked? Am I sick? Is it bad?? I might be slightly addicted...
