A real shame what happened here, really.

I guess it shouldn’t be that surprising. With Flash being well past its prime and forced obsolete by 2020, this site’s functionality grinding down into virtually nothing, Kongregate is just a completely barren husk of its former self. Doesn’t help that its only remaining topic left for being “innovative” is blockchain. What a joke.

What’s the point of this site if there’s no chat or forum to interact with what’s left of the people here? The only community interactions available with people you haven’t met already are game comments that have been largely abandoned since the Covid era; no point sticking around if the games don’t work through Ruffle, I suppose. I believe that by 2027, if the Internet Archive crumbles to dust, all you’re gonna hear about Kongregate is some sorry listing on GoDaddy that will be bought by some hedge fund and squatted on or used to shill scamcoins.
