This game just doesn't get old. I come back every six months or so and beat it again for old times sake and every time it's like a brand new experience. I can't figure it out but this game just calls to me.
Is the item Plasma Glass bugged? I picked one up and its effect was "Life Drain"(Seems like it's just similar to bleed) and then in the next run i picked one up and its effect was "Decimate".
One of the top comments says "I let out a very weird squeely sound when I saw this!" And I misread it as "I let out a very weird sequely sound when I saw this!" My mind is so accustomed to puns that I can't not see them.
Restarted the first part three times to try and make the witch less pissed off at me. I liked the idea of having a choice but the illusion of having one saddens me.
As an addition to my previous statement. The battle should be calculated by how many bars you have left at the end. For instance, if you have 5 attack bars left, but 0 of any other, your score is 5. Your opponent has no attack bars but 2 ranged, 2 magic and 2 defense, giving him a score of 6, resulting in the opponent victory. This would prevent players from picking 3 stats and simply not getting the fourth, as well as adding a more consistent way of determining who wins, since a tie would be far less likely.
Equal stats should always mean a tie for that stat. It's dumb to have massively more stats than your opponent on 2 and exactly equal on 2, then end up losing against those 2 and losing the spin.
The game is quite fun. Melee characters seem incredibly powerful, I made it through the first 3 or 4 areas without ever taking damage as a dwarf berserker, and I was in combat a lot. One issue I did notice is that after opening a menu of any kind (Journal, Inventory, Map, Shop) the game will lag for about 30 seconds afterwards, not a huge deal as it corrects itself shortly but something worth noting.
Don't make a building with a roof if you can't get on the roof. It's obnoxious to find out you can't get on a roof while you're at the edge of the screen, when you can clearly get higher than the roof on the building and it forces a death instead of a perfect run.
I feel like boss fights shouldn't count towards the "perfect" challenge, just because it's obnoxious to redo a level over and over until the boss doesn't hit you.
Games great until the first death. The shortcut should just be whatever floor you were last on, so you don't have to replay all the levels that you already beat, now with upgraded gear. It's boring and unfulfilling. Great game otherwise.
It would be great if your "Walkthrough" showed how to get the trophy on every level, not how to beat the level. Beating the level is easy, the trophy is the hard part.
Also I have no idea how but while i was typing my previous comment the boss just decided not to spawn, so i killed the 12 enemies and it ended. Might want to fix that.
