Way too easy. Every map can be beat with the same strategy: Use the british, upgrade to redcoats first thing, build a block of palisades around your blockhouse, put redcoats on. Save up to greenjackets, upgrade your redcoats. After that upgrade your walls or something, but a block of 6x6 of greenjackets kill everything.
I beat the 5th cave with a collection of weenies: Goblins, Dwarves, Zombies, Ghost Armor, Centaurs, and Taurus Warriors. Add Extra Damage and just wait until all units are spawned, and then rush. The invisible goblin cannot attact you, it will be stunlocked by all the attack. The extra damage card will make sure you kill his castle quick.
Totally finished the game (full deck+all campaigns finished+all caves won). Thought: Not much variation. Too easy, even the caves can be won easily by just building up your army and selecting the best cards. Not much strategy needed. Nice graphics, music. Kinda addicting. All in all, pretty nice but not excellent! If the game would have different styles of battle, it would be way cooler. 3/5.
Yeah, just get high level starter gems, make a couple of level 7 gems right away, and just bring in the waves while holding the M key, you'll get glowing frames everywhere in no time.
Just push mana upgrade all the time, you'll get loads of points, level fast, and in no time you start with high grade gems, and you'll rock.
If you have trouble with the masses, just throw a load of gem bombs on their heads, and it should keep you alive.

WTF. Had an awesome defence going (4 trenches, bunker, all men rifle skill above 40, exp 50+, 2 tanks) and ONE artillery strike explodes EVERYTHING I have in about 5 seconds. Sucks.
Hahaa! Finished the hard badge easily with a really simple laser rocket chain:
1) Build a rocket turret, on the map Lyne, at the beginning of the line.
2) First upgrade Rate 1x.
3) The raise damage 3x
4) raise Rate to 3x and Range to 3x. This will activate Holding Pattern: Loads of missiles will float in the air killing all.
5) Now raise damage to MAX.
6) Build a green turret right next to the red turret (in combo range, press C to check)
7) Build a line of green turrets, space them just so that each turret is in the range of only 2 turrets: one in front one in back (look at SHOOTING range, not COMBO range).
8) Upgrade the FIRST and the LAST turret in the line to max (finish the line first! Make it as long as possible!)
Now, all the turrets should make a long chain, greatly increasing damage, transfer it to the rocket, the rocket floats in the air and shoots lasers of doom! This should get you to about ~1600 kills if you do it this simple way, and then you die quickly.
This game is not fun.
1) It's hard, normally not really a problem, but the learning curve sucks.
2) The engine sucks. The clipping is bad, the control is wacky and does not feel smooth.
3) You cannot look ahead, which is essential in this game. Now it just rests on trial and error.

Easy way to get the first 2 badges: In the first map, walk until you have to jump to get further, remain standing there, and swing with your pipe. All the enemies will walk straight in, and die, and won't shoot back while being hit. Remain swinging and in 5 minutes you have the badge.
Turrets and improved barricades and no damage to yourself makes this game waaay to easy. Just shoot stuff with the shotgun untill you have turrets, and then build a fort with barricades and turrets, and you'll get 999 multiplier in no time.
Goddamn this sucks. Last round of Enhanched mode for the badge, got a great streak going, almost at 60, and my goddamn fuel runs out and i explode in the air. >_>
