I do agree that it does take a while to get some good stuff, for example I would use stuff 10 levels lower from what I could get cause the other stuff sucks. Although just play quick matches so the items change.
Also for the people who would like to play as a mage, don't its way easier to play as a warrior all I could say is I did still use all electric spells when fighting Vulcan, the final boss and helped alot you really only need that. Healing spell did help too but it's impossible to increase the heal spells heal which is 20.
Hey pro tip cause well I could still play this game with the 4th day of 2021, look up a map of this game it will have listed where bosses and talismen are and how to play the game as well as show you where to go to not get lost it really helped. Beat the game in 3 days 2 hours a day.
The crossbow is where it's at like dayum! It says its fire rate is slow but it's like ten milisec slower and does twice more than the bow it even shoots farther.
Unfortunately with Kongregate changes there's indeed far less new players checking out. We'll see in the future if we can join Kongregate players with our others, but would be a big task, so can't promise anything for that yet :/
Also I disagree with Lhac96 plus RemiM4 if you choose standard sail, the blast Cannon and rammer have musketeers, oarsman and cannon Smith it is far to easy to beat the enemy large ships or small, even the kraken takes less then 5 min. I have the standard cannon balls maxed and used nothing else to win. In fact I even believe the special stuff is useless such as the weapons, although the special units in the tavern are good or so they seem, I'd still prefer what I already have since it works way to well even on the hardest difficulty with just one death due to my carelessness.
I'd rate this game a 7/10 it was pretty average. It did have me stuck to it till I finished the game as it should, although there are very things to do and is very repetitive but was fun. I suggest playing on the hardest difficulty without the hardcore mode to make it even slightly challenging since it's a easy game to beat.
I got heal with my first 3 skill pts after that I took warrior route while every level up I placed with magic so my heal goes up. Got plus 2 mana regen on every armor set and I just could not die. If I needed more Def I would grind magic gems with revealer and I would transmute whatever I wanted. 3 shadow rings, death dagger, and ninja armor gives 16 % insta kills.
It was great to play used to play it while I was like 8-9? Either way, had difficulty is great took some retries for some levels although it wasn't too hard.
