Oh, another reason I don't want to sink gold into buying crafting mats is that my common tier items often outstat uncommon and even rare gear. I have a pve set entirely focused on adv. and a pvp set focusing mainly damage and minorly in defense. If there was more of a guarantee that higher rarity of gear meant better stats, I would see more value in spending gold to craft at this level. The same effect would work in nerfing common gear stat max.
Pve current main gear: wep-32adv arm-35adv helm-35adv boot-29adv glove-188hp34adv ammy-34adv
Just my gloves are uncommon, rest is common. My focus is reaching lv20 asap.
The core of this game seems like it would focus on auction house, but I find most of my time is on optimizing farming/level and pvp. I think the issue I have with it is there plain isn't enough stock in the auction house for me to browse through, and I'm sitting on 5k gold. You may want to introduce an npc to add some stock to your auction house, or allow players to add more common items to the auction house. Something to sink gold into. I would spend some on buying crafting mats, but I think it's more prudent of me to wait until I'm higher level to get more value out of crafting. Perhaps a way to craft common tier gear by using the parts mats + some gold would help too.
Thanks for reading!
I've enjoyed playing this game so far (about 2 days and level 8).
One thing I took awhile to catch on to was that you could have an alternate gear set stored with the 'stash' option. I think either the UI should hint more at it (show there's another tab of equipment), or not have the information feel so buried in the game guide text.
There could be a kred option for buying a 3rd set of gear stash on that note.
