Oh, great. Another great series ruined by a game dev implementing cutesy ELECTRONIC GAMBLING to make money, while also killing casual progression to further entice people to give in and open their wallets. Good fluffing job, bucko; you played yourself.
Too much awesome for a comment. PM'd a full review to the Dev. The short version is: THIS IS MY NEW FAVORITE THING. I would buy a hundred copies just to make sure this Dev gets to keep doing what he's doing so well. Almost completely perfect, but I don't need perfection to call it amazing.
I will be playing this for AWHILE. 5/5, Favorited, and hell; BOOKMARKED! :D
There is only three things missing.
1). A better storyline: as fun as the game is to play, I feel like I'm working to capture a city and then leave it empty while it's automated factories give me goods to sell to faceless perople at a supply depot in God knows where. Capturing the city for a government or a group of survivors would be a much better incentive than just capturing a city for the sake of killing zombies.
2). Tower reconfiguration: I miss this from the last game; the ability to take off one set of guns and replace them with another. Now I'm stuck with Gatling towers when I'm really an Cannoneer.
3). Survivors that help you. Maybe not while your boots are on the ground and you're killing the Zed with firearms and hand-to-hand awesomeness, but survivors that give you buffs, help you defend from zombie attacks, make you extra money, or just some people you can put in charge of towers and areas so that the threat level goes down and STAYS down.
How I felt buying max speed for my tank: YOU CAN'T CATCH ME, I'M THE GINGER-BREAD TANK! Great game, good for limited free time (got 100% after 2 playthroughs, didn't take long at all). Not the best-looking game I've ever played, but one of the funnest flash games I've wasted my spring break on. 8/10, keep 'em comin'.
Let's see... The entire city is full of the undead... I'm all alone... and every street I conquer probably has a lot of military radio equipment, radio towers, radio STATIONS... nah, i don't need to tell people about my 99.999% zombie free city, I'm perfectly fine alone... with the entire city to myself... But I do have one question... Who is manning my turrets when I'm not? Do i have them set to "kill anything that moves" while I'm gone, what if survivors start coming in? Will they be shot/blow'd up too? That's... Horrible.
A good game so fare, with plenty of graphic toggles to help this *INFERNAL MACHINE* of a computer along. Good music, good graphics as well. The only problem I have with it is the shields, every time they get knocked down i have to wait for (roughly speaking) 10-30 seconds of hull damaging horror before they recharge, and if I'm being hit when they come back online, they go RIGHT BACK DOWN. They might as well have stayed offline. But so far that is my only problem with it.
Help! I'm stuck at 106,000 ft. Cannot get down, these platforms keep barring my way! <:(
(Good game, but can we get an option to turn off those platforms when we want to go DOWN!?!)
